You truly don't have to be an owl lover to fall instantly in love with this cute, artistic and adorable little bird figurine. I happen to be a lifelong admirer of wildlife in most forms, especially he "mysterious," intelligent-looking owls when it comes to the flying specimens. I live out in a rustic, country setting in Florida and birds of all types frequent my property. These welcome visitors don't often include owls, although I know that they abound in this area. It's probably because they're nocturnal in nature and not too easy to spot during the day. In fact, I curiously did a search and only two owl varieties are diurnal, ones up in the snowy, cold northern environs that need to see their prey against the often white, snowy backgrounds. Those types down here in my sub-tropical environment are strictly nighttime hunters, hence my longing to share my keen, curious interest in them with this statuette figure as I never get to see them in their real habitat. So, along comes this adorable owl figurine that became available to me through my participation in Amazon's Vine Voice reviewer program. While it's obviously not the "real thing," for me, it's proven to be the next best thing! I selected the green-colored version (as opposed to the gold one that this Amazon seller was also offering) and I'm indeed not sorry as to my selection. In fact, I'm so in love with this "little guy," I'll probably go ahead and purchase his twin golden brother as I'm sure the pair will give me additional pleasure when placed in closed proximity with one another. I really can't give you a better endorsement than that - - the fact I'm re-ordering a product that I already essentially possess. Regarding the exceptional qualities I've noted with the green one I'm currently reviewing, it's crafted from "high-quality resin," as the Amazon vendor so states. It has a smooth, sleek outer surface that's comfy to touch. Although I have no way of verification, the seller also notes that this "Art-Deco" product is hand-painted by his studio of artisans. No matter to me if it's hand-painted or mass produced on a production line, the captivating effect of this little wise owl sitting on my centrally-placed living room table is overwhelming. Although somewhat fragile, I anticipate sharing and enjoying it's presence in my home for a longtime as there currently are no children nor pets in the household. Amazon price-point-wise, the $14.99 cost at the time of this writing seems very fair to me, especially with the current, generous, added bonus of a 5%-off coupon. Although many other owl figurines are available on Amazon, IMO none offer the same visual and craftsmanship benefits of this one. At just a mere 4.5 inches tall, it obviously doesn't immediately overwhelm house visitors upon first glance. But whenever it's eventually spotted, the positive comments begin to flow in volumes. I'm really proud to so prominently display this Amazon seller's prideful product in my home...hence a full "thumbs-up," 5 star rating across-the-board. Enjoy! This had some white residue on the bottom but it was easily cleaned up. It's small but stout and looks great on my mantle, looking down on all the guests. Overall it's a nice decoration and would be a good gift for anyone but especially anyone that likes owls.

This is a friendly, cheerful decor item. It arrived without defect and was nicely painted with an intricate design and brushed gold-like finish and a face to make any owl-lover smile. It is small—4.5” and I wish there was a larger size option—but it is very cute.

I love all things owl and couldn't pass this up when I saw it. It is small, but very beautifully crafted and it shows in the small details; the texture of the feathers, the details around the eyes and wings. Which also makes it unique. It's also very durable. My toddler has knocked it off the sideboard that sits over 3' off the ground and it didn't get a scratch. I was watering my plants and knocked it over just the other day and thought for sure I'd ruined it. I didn't even want to look...but nope...still in perfect shape.

As always when I receive a product at no cost I am going to lead with the disclaimer that I did not pay for said product. With that said, I was not finally incentivized or specifically offered this item, I requested it. I generally wont request things I think I won't like, but I will also be happy to provide a negative review and will do so if warranted. However this Owl is not getting a bad review. It is super cute, far more detailed than I expected it to be, is a nice size at around 4.5-5" tall, and has some good weight. It appears to have been made of cast resin of some kind and is then painted over with what look like glass or resin eyes glued in. I did get this item at no cost but frankly I don't think 15 dollars is at all a bad price. My only real complaint is the paint job is a tiny bit hodge podge in spots and clearly not super high effort, it still looks good though and if you, a loved one, or household member like the color green and owls a lot you wont really care. It works great as a paper weight, general bookshelf, desk, or bookcase/table decoration, and I could see it making an awesome low cost gift. If you think you will like it it's worth the 15. Note: I did get the green version, so can't speak to the paint job or color quality on the gold version.

The design is terrific - has the appearance of an owl but mixed with an artistic flair, such as the feathers that look like leaves and the intricate designs on the top of the wings. Meanwhile, the claws, beak and eyes are a good match for the bird (the eyes in particular have a reflective quality that looks really cool). A great little decorative piece. Cons: None identified Ratings (1-10 scale; 0 = Very poor, 5 = Average, 10 = Exceptional) Quality: 8.5 Value (based on purchase price of $14.99): 7 Utility: 7.5 Overall: 8 Hopefully you found this review helpful in identifying the best product to meet your needs.

This little guy is full of detail and so well made. I did not see a blemish on it. It's lighter than I was expecting, but that's not a complaint. It looks great, just like the pictures, and the colors are nice! My husband loves owls, so this is sitting on display on our "nerd shelves" (where all our cool stuff goes). :D
