This paint is awful for the airbrush, it always clogs and I can only get a few sprays of the paint before it clogs and I have to disassemble my airbrush to clean it. NOT worth the money or time.

It is a solid set for the price, but not really for beginners. As someone who is just getting into airbrushing, I found these paints to be frustrating at first. The main reasons I bought these paints was because they were at a good price point and were advertised as "ready to spray", but when you get the product it clearly says "mini airbrush compressor doesn't have enough air pressure, the paint is hard to spray out, need to thin...". As a beginner, I am going to buy a nice budget friendly airbrush kit with a smaller compressor; therefor, needing to thin the paint. I went through almost half the bottle thinking that something was wrong with the airbrush before i realized i still needed to thin the paint. So do yourself a favor and buy some thinner along with this set. Once i figured out the right ratio between thinner and paint, these paints worked pretty darn good, with the darker colors performing slightly better than the lighter colors. Overall decent starter set, but might explore other brands in the future. ... show more

    • Decent paint, but you MUST filter it.
This stuff works well enough once you filter it and thin it, but every color I've tried WITHOUT running it through a filter has clogged up the airbrush really quickly.

The media could not be loaded. I considered trying to only buy colors I needed with each project but instead bought this. Soooo glad I did. It’s been really great having such a variety of paints ready to go as I’m learning how to airbrush. I do kinda wish this kit came with double-sized white and black bottles because I can tell I’m going through those the fastest. Oh well, I love the paints. They seem to work well without thinning but I have also gotten nervous at times and added a couple of drops of thinner or distilled water and mixed a bit with a cheap paintbrush. ... show more

I'm an absolute beginner, spread a few guitars with cans, and first time using acrylic with airbrush. The paint was thicker than expected and required above 49psi to start spraying, I got really happy with the flow and control at around 60psi, using a shop compressor.
