The XL is likely massive. The pads all have a nice coating on the back that allow it to lay flat and not shift. Ive used a lot of mouse pads, from glass to mud pads, and this is the smoothest mouse pad ive ever used, there is zero friction and has amazing humidity resistance. Its got decent control, its not like a mud pad but its very precise, would definitely recommend it if you've thought about trying it. FYI I would recommend using full skates or donuts and not dots, the pad is soft and they can sink in a little. ... show more
