Though I know this wasn't listed as an intended purpose, I purchased this to line the ground in my daughter's outdoor playset. The measurements didn't quite line up but it covers most of the ground and I'm doing a dry mulch border around it. It's thick and fluffy and was easy to cut down to the width I needed in order to install. It's absorbent and so far, has made the ground floor of her playset much more exciting + tidy. I'm a big fan of this turn and definitely recommend to anyone looking to cover some ground- I'm not sure how well it works for pet relief but it seems porous so I'd be willing to bet it's functional for that as well. ... show more

I use this as a rug on my back porch for my dogs. They absolutely LOVE laying on this rather than the concrete. There were a few fly away grass strands that fell off but after shaking it out a couple times I’m not seeing any more loose grass. Comes folded and creased but it’s already evening out. Good for outdoor play areas for kids that don’t have grass or of course animals. Not super thick or heavy so beware of high winds but the “grass” has a nice feel to it

i got this for turf in my backyard for my kids who play baseball and softball, perfect size to put a home plate on it, it was bent and creased out of the box but after a day it flattened out and was exactly what i was hoping for, great size and so far as described and pictured !

This is just a simple rectangle of astro turf or fake grass. We're using it as a kind of entry mat in our workshop and it's been great. Yes some of the "grass" sheds a bit and it's not perfect, but could be useful in a bunch of applications (for pets, for instance).
