My senior citizen mom trained her small dog to go on wee wee pads because she (my mom) has limited mobility and lives in a condo, so walking her dog isn’t always doable. The wee wee pads work wonderfully, but I wanted to find something even easier for my mom and her dog. I put two of these grass pads in the walk-in shower, where they can be hidden with the shower curtain, but still accessible to her fur baby. The dog uses them as she should and now my mom only has to pick up the poop and flush it, and use the shower head (on a hose) to rinse the grass pads off daily (she sprays first with a pet-safe disinfectant). There’s no foul smell and no waste from having to throw away used wee wee pads, and she’s saving money by no longer needing to buy the wee wee pads! It’s a win win for her and her dog!

I use this on top of my dog's pee pad. It really doesn't have an odour. The pee pad alone smells and with this, it makes me able to stretch my pee pad longer. Easy to clean Spray it with pet safe fabreeze to kill off any odour. When cleaning, rinse it off with water and then soak it in laundry detergent (I use arm and hammer). Then rinse it again, put it in the sun to dry. It works better than vinegar. The pee pad is bigger than it, which is fine because either way. He isn't going on my floor. He (shih Tzu, two year old) just needs to see grass, otherwise he wouldn't use the pee pad. I'm shedding. Sturdy. Looks attractive. Hope this review helped.

I had little hope that this grass pad would work with my 2 year old chihuahua but to my surprise he started to use it on his own! It’s super easy to clean. When I can’t do a load in the washing machine, I just rinse the mat it in the tub under hot water and there’s no odor and it’s as good as new. This is such a helpful product and would highly recommend for anyone looking to wee pad train their dog.

These are much thicker than the one that came with the tray. They are great for small Chihuahuas. they also have the trim around the edges which keeps the grass from falling off the edges.When you wash them.

Got rid of the contraptions that were more of a pain than anything. Went to these instead. Have them on our outdoor patio where the dogs have access. Trying to keep things familiar. They are easily washed off with the hose.
