Thin, scratchy, artificial looking
Size: 5 x 8 Feet
This low pile artificial turf is much thinner and less dense than I expected. It definitely looks and feels like artificial grass, and feels a little scratchy on my feet. The rubber, non-slip backing on the bottom of the mat is quite thin with very little cushion. The grass mat arrived folded and took several days for it to flatten out in the sun. I wanted to keep this on my deck year-round, but I’m not sure it will last all summer out in the sun. The color of the mat is bright green, which resembles the color of healthy grass. This mat is low maintenance and is easy to hose off and keep clean. It drains well. Liquids don’t pool on top of it, so it works well as a puppy pad. It’s compact and light enough to use for RV travel, to place seasonally on your deck or patio, or to use around a pool or spa. This outdoor turf is quick and easy to set up. Plus, it’s easy to cut to the size and shape you want. This artificial carpet is versatile and can be used indoors or outdoors. Overall, this artificial 5’ x 8’ turf seems pricey compared to its quality and durability. For about $49, I feel it’s an OK value for temporary use. I wouldn’t recommend using this year-round or keeping it out in direct sunlight for a prolonged period.

Where are the drain holes? 🌧️
Size: 5 x 8 Feet
I want to give this 5x8ft Artificial Grass Turf 5 stars so badly, but since there’s no drainage for water, I’m forced to give 3 stars since I will have to put it away/hang dry every time it rains. I live in the Seattle (WA) area so it rains a lot!! This makes this rug not be available on about 150 days per year (via SIRI) for me. If the plastic backing grid had some holes for draining? This would be a 5⭐️ knockout! I was looking for some turf to cover the slats in my deck and protect my dogs nails when kicking the ball around. This is perfect! It’s large enough for him, a 12lb Papillon, to play and roughhouse on! The “grass” is very fake looking, but could still spruce up an outdoor terrace or patio by adding some always welcome greenery! Note that it does have a scratchy plastic feel to it that may be too rough on sensitive feet. The size is generous!! It fit my patio chairs (2 out of 4 pictured) perfectly, with space to add a little table for drinks and food! If this had drainage it would definitely merit a higher star rating. 3⭐️ for needing to hang dry on rainy days and accidental spills

Excellent material.
Size: 4 x 6 Feet
I used this turf to cover a swim platform on my pool. It's easy to work with, comfortable to walk on and doesn't slip when wet.

Low pile, perfect for poops! Concerned about long-term durability
Size: 5 x 8 Feet
The product shipped folded up preventing it from laying flat- it’s only been 3 days and the mat still has creases. I am confident it will flatten, but just a tad annoying when patio furniture has to be moved each time it settles. The grass is low pile which is FANTASTIC for use as a potty pad- have you ever tried getting dried dog dropping out of an artificial turf? I’ve thrown an incredibly expensive one away because of the near impossibility!! This one seems like it was, in fact, made for the job. Conversely, the mat is super thin with A thin layer of slip resistant material on the bottom. Used as a pee pad, this would absolutely need to be sprayed off daily- dog urine is super caustic- especially with the type of silicon-type non-stick material used here. In my opinion, it would have been a better choice to use a a heavier thicker rubber material, like the BOH mats used in restaurants. I’m only 3 days in, but the feel and up-close visual inspection definitely pose a concern for long-term durability. The color of the mat is bright and aesthetically pleasing. Although the artificiality is clear, it does not look cheap at all! As far as I can tell now, the price point lands within the range of similar sized turfs when doing comps. The puppy pad claim immediately recategorizes it & different needs are met while sacrificing others. I’d suggest doing comps for turf with similar intended use- go check it out in person if you can. The actual product in hand might not be what you’d imagine for this cost.
