I bought these purely for the aesthetic and they delivered in the most unexpected, creative way. 😍 Here's what I actually used them for: I built a hidden closet door that blends seamlessly into an accent wall. From the outside? It looks like a chic, intentional design moment. Open it up? Pure magic. 🚪✨ The sleek, modern wood slat look is chef's kiss and gives off serious high-end vibes without the designer price tag. What made these perfect for a custom build: • ✂️ Super easy to trim . The black backing is a thick foam felt that's sturdy yet cuts cleanly with scissors or a skill saw for the top and bottom wooden part slats • 🔩 Secured mine to a 2x4 frame using basic black nail screws, so no specialty tools needed except a drill • 🖤 Added black painted trim on top and bottom and secured with Liquid Nails for a polished, seamless finish. ***I first used “wood glue” and the trim wouldn’t stay attached. • The oak finish photographs gorgeous! 📸 Perfect for the creative DIYer who wants a functional but drop-dead gorgeous result. These are excellent. I used these to extend an earlier project I had done behind my TV/sound system. Approximately 5 months or more apart and these matched the oak finish with zero difference between the two. I originally had used the 24" by 48" (Approximately) sized pieces and lined them up to have no space horizontally between them, which was a bit of a feat to pull off. These having no gap in them were much easier in general and if you're looking for that uniform look from floor to ceiling I think it's much better to start with these or the even longer/taller size that are available. Actually I think it's best to start with these floor to ceiling sized pieces in general as they are just as easy or easier to handle and place by yourself and have that seamless look without a fight. The caveat being if you're looking for that look with a break between them. I did an exceptionally poorly insulated wall in one of the bedrooms here that way and the look is equally great. It's simply a matter of personal preference or in my case a desire to have the alternate look in my living room. Either way these are fantastic panels. They definitely added warmth to the bedroom and ambiance to the living room as well as some improvement in sound overall. Deadening the echoes in both locations and improving sound isolation in the bedroom and overall sound quality in the living room behind my TV and sound system. I have used other similar products from different makers and found that these are right there at the top with all of them. Slightly more expensive so look for a discount which happens rather frequently on whatever metric is used.

I bought these Art3d oak panels to create a feature accent wall in my living room and help cut down on the echo from my hardwood floors. Overall, I am super happy w/ how it turned out, but there are definitely a couple of things you should know before buying. The Good Stuff: True to Color: I was a bit nervous about ordering online, but the oak color is absolutely spot on and perfectly true to the photos. It adds such a warm, high-end, 3D textured look to the space. They seriously look so nice and modern that I think they'd fit anywhere, making it a versatile option for any space. Insane Acoustic Difference: The noise reduction is legit. Our room feels way more cozy and less like an echo chamber now thanks to that thick polyester backing. Super Easy to Install: Honestly, mounting these was a breeze. They went up really quickly on my wall using basic tools, and the 94.5" length was perfect for going floor-to-ceiling. The wood slats are nice and thick so we felt good putting these since we knew they'd be durable and stable enough to be indoors. The Downsides: Sharp Once Cut: If you need to trim these down to fit your space, be careful! The edges get incredibly sharp once cut, so you'll want to handle them with caution or sand them down a bit. Pretty Pricey: For only covering about 21 sq. ft. per 4-pack, it gets expensive fast if you're trying to do a larger wall or ceiling project. My Take: It’s a premium product with premium results. If you have the budget for it and take your time with the cuts, the finished look is 100% worth it!

Really good looking and well crafted slat panels. Easy to install. I used construction adhesive and 18 gauge pneumatic nail. Screws are also supplied, which I elected not to use. They are veneer over MDF. The sides of the MDF are not finished, but you can’t detect that. I was quite suprised at that. I am a very picky craftsman, and I highly recommend the panels. They are perfectly straight and consistent. The veneer doesn’t chip when I cut with my 12 inch miter saw with a 90 tooth blade. Perfectly clean cuts.

Absolutely love them!! I used only 3 of the 4 panels provided and added the LED light strips that are sold separately by the same manufacturer. I applied a piece of painters tape along the bottom where I was making my cut and had no issues…. It cut beautifully. Also drilled a hole in the felt to hide the wires for the LED lights behind the board. I did ensure that they were flatly secured with tape to the wood part as to not drill through the cords when screwing into the wall. Turned out to a beautiful accent!
