This was my first paint by numbers and I ended up painting 2 more for family members. It came out very nice! The colors were exactly as they looked in the photos and it was easy to paint with the paper guide. The numbers were fairly easy to see.

This is a cute paint pattern but each number is very detailed. I got the non stretched one and it wasn’t rolled but folded in the box which made the canvas wrinkle a little. It can be flatten very easy though by putting some heavy books on it for some amount of time. The set comes with a black and white pattern in a paper in case you can’t see numbers on the canvas clear enough you can have a look at it. It also comes with three brushes; two round and one flat. My recommendation is to buy a detailed paint brush for acrylic colors because the brushes they gave are not suitable for teeny tiny spaces in this painting. I bought a new brush set on Amazon and I ended up using the smallest tip in most of the area of this painting. Next tip is to use the wider flat brush to paint the background first then start from the lightest color to paint the first layer. After that I started doing the darkest colors so I could see the outline clearer. The lighter colors would need a lot of layers to cover the numbers on the canvas. Make sure to get a good quality set of brush, the tip of cheap ones are usually soft and you won’t be able to control the strokes and will mess up your painting. The sets I bought are from Benicia which are sold in Amazon. They are made in China but the company is family owned based in FL. It’s not high end brush set but it can do the job. ... show more

One thing to watch out for is the colors. The 19-24 were printed upside down which isnt an issue but it was also opposite count meaning #19 is actually in the #24 spot! Good thing I checked before starting otherwise that would be a waste of time. Other thing I noticed on picture the baige tone (#19) is also a litte more peachy colored. Which still looks good but little different. I ONLY DID 1 coat of white so far so it is a little transparent but easily fixable. Over all like the picture. ... show more

I loved painting this! SO much that I ordered the other two patterns that go with this design. I love painting but this was so easy to follow that anyone could do it! You can't even tell afterwards it's a paint-by-number! It is my new favorite hobby!!

I enjoyed the project but the following should be taken into consideration: - the print is folded (make sure to figure out how to remove crease prior to painting, so you don’t end up like me) - one of the paints was dried out - better paintbrushes should be used - the numbers come through the lighter paint - colors don’t match the pic provided ... show more

I loved doing this. Very therapeutic and an awesome hobby to start. Especially because I can hang it as decor now once I frame it! The only thing [not necessarily negative] I would say is that some of the tan colors came more pink/salmon colored so the final result looked different than the example. I love it,the colors are so pleasing and the canvas came rolled in a box so it wasn't dented or wrinkled,the three paint brushes that were included were made from wood not plastic, hands down the best paint by numbers kit I've ordered ever
