This is a great cover. It is lightweight but it is very warm. I'm not sure if It is supposed to be warm but it is almost to hot at night. I keep my temperature at 68degrees. It fits my queen-sized bed great. The color is exactly as pictured, I think, cranberry, not to red and not washed out. I really like it a lot. I bought this for a guest to use on her air bed and she was absolutely thrilled with it. It was good right out of the box but I tossed it in the dryer for about 5 minutes on low heat just to let it puff up a bit and it was perfect. She raved about it. The fabric is soft and the teal color is lovely. It was at least as nice (or better) than some I have purchased for three times the price.
