Fully lined, so I felt comfortable ordering a half size larger (9 to a 9.5). Full disclosure, that's all that they had available, but the fit was fine with winter socks. I waterproofed them and trudged them through nasty wet snow on the first night, short story is that they held up admirably and have become my new favorite winter bad-weather shoe.
