Some ARP flywheel bolts are flange head it takes some time and research to get the correct length and style you want. No difference in application between flywheel or flex plate bolts unless your flywheel bolt holes are recessed forcing you to use a socket that clears. I can use either on this application flanged or these 12 point bad boys. This is on a Callie’s magnum crank LS7. Do not use red lock tight, only ARP high pressure lube. Factory bolts are way different than ARP that’s why they come with dacromet coating and blue thread locker from GM on them already. These are .880 UHLfor Gen 3/4 crank flange. LT engines use 1.125 UHL which is too long to use in a .880 application you will hit the block. ... show more

When building a performance LS and bolting it to your 4l60 / 4l70 transmission the flex plate bolts are a critical link. Definitely recommend upgrading the stock bolts to these fasteners. They are heavy duty and have perfect threading. The bolts smoothly torqued to ARP spec (higher than stock) with the included moly lube. Worth the money to upgrade to ARP. ... show more

These are great bolts but they arrived a day later than was "guaranteed" which delayed my project past the deadline. I won't be able to use my truck to pull the camper as I had planned.

    • Nice bolts!
They are bolts that hold your flexplate to your crankshaft. What can I say. They bolted like there was no tomorrow! Which is ironic since if there was no tomorrow I would have left the stock ones in there. But I only had 5 stock bolts so I kinda needed something which is how I ended up here.
