Exact fit for my 46” ARIENS model 936053. It went together so easily I couldn’t believe it wasn’t a factory item, 45 mins total time. Required zero modifications and anyone with basic skills can install. 1/2” and 7/16” end wrenches (or a Crescent) were the only tools needed. After installation, I adjusted the tilt of my deck because the weight of the duct pushed down the right side of the deck about 1/2”. This is a normal adjustment for any riding mower and took 5 min.     • Not made properly, difficult to install.
This grass catcher was bought for a 42-inch Husqvarna riding mower. That product looks good and sturdy, but when trying to install the item it is very difficult. The end that attaches to the deck at the grass discharge port does not fit, not made properly to fit. That's what happen when you buy a one-piece multi fit item for a 42- 46-inch cutting deck. I wish I never bought this item. That's what happens when you are trying to save money. When you buy cheap you get cheap. Don't buy this if you do not want installation problems ... show more

it was a little hard to assemble, and the grass still gets Ito the bins, but there will still be grass shooting out the sides because it does not seal completely. also if you bag your grass in those lawn bags from Home Depot or Lowes you will. be using quite a bit of them. other than that it works great and my wife loves it. ... show more

    • Installation was a challenge, instructions were pretty lame...written by the engineer probably
So, just got it installed and took a bit longer than expected but the instructions used small pictures and didn't even follow a numbering system that took place. Literally there were 4 first steps?? They also referred to certain parts using a SKU type system that didn't add up perfectly to the parts description page. With that said, I did get it to work and did a test run and it seems to be functionally effective, solid product but the install was frustrating. ... show more

Very happy with this bagger unit. Installation on my Ariens 42 inch deck was simple and very easy. Start to finish 1.5 hours. Ran the unit around my yard and it functioned as it is designed. Bags are easily removed and emptied and have a handle on the bottom to assist with emptying them. Great product! ... show more

    • Chute won't open!
I have a Husqvarna YTA18542, and the chute clogged continuously during two mowing attempts; both attempts ended with me removing the bagger after 1-2 runs/passes.

Easy to install, it took about 45 minutes because I had to search for a screw that didn't come with the hardware. If I had to do it again, it would take about 20 minutes. Works great on my YTH 18k47 Husqvarna
