Description

This18 gauge stainless steel medieval breastplate is the ultimate piece of armor for reenactors. It offers a front and back solid stainless steel plate cast in traditional medieval armor styling. They are held together by leather straps at the top and fully adjustable leather straps at the waist, complete with metal buckles. This piece of history were the common wear amongst the warriors back in the medieval days where men fight to defend their lands and territories. This Cuirass includes and back and front piece. We recommend wearing soft padding underneath, sold separately.

    • Almost good.
First of all what is pictured isn't exactly what you will receive. The pictured armor has two straps on the side but you will get only one. The biggest difference is the back plate is segmented and has a dent in the middle. It seems as though the back plate was thrown together out of scrap just to fill the order. I tried to make it work but after a couple of days trying to modify something that just isn't worth it I had to buy a better breastplate from another seller. The price should be closer to $20 rather than the $100 worth of disappointment I received. ... show more

    • I CAN’T MOVE MY ARMS
My arms have about the same utility as the arms of a T-Rex. And I look like I’m trying to size up everything that moves the way my arms are just not allowed to rest at my sides.

This shipped fast. The armor had very minor dents and scratches but it gives the armor a little favor/story. It fits me well with a few sweatshirts on under it. The leather straps are in good shape. I have it decorating my mantle and it is perfect for where it is.
