This does not have an adhesive backing like some roof underlayment products have, but it is SO much easier to apply, and you get far more ( both width and length) for your dollar. May not hold up if left exposed for months, but as an underlayment product for metal and asphalt roofing I’d have no concerns. Good product. ... show more

Cool Gray color. Great product. Very durable. Made it through winter snow and spring rain on a low slope roof, double layers with heavy overlap without anything covering it. This year I went new layers over the old and painted elastometic over the top. Will do metal roof over that. Holds up to intense UV exposure for more than 90 days. Fastened with plastic head roof nails. Will not rip in high winds. Lays flat. Great for new construction or temporary waterproofing. Synthetic Roof Underlayment is the only way to put on underlayment, I'm old enough to have used tar paper for years and you could never get it wet and it would stay flat. There is no going back to tar paper.
