  • great Idea and a good value
great Idea and a good value. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the item is a little bit larger than the dog holes I have in my bench. Honestly I could’ve missed that in the description. And I can make the whole slightly larger so it will work.

  • Works amazingly well!
I needed something to help keep my projects stationary while i did sanding these fit the bill perfectly. They are super easy to lock into place, and fit the bench dog holes in my bench really well. Sanding no longer is something i dread.

  • Good, but not great
I would have really wanted this to work better than it does. There is a set screw that is turned to adjust the tightness of the clamp. I am sanding several pieces of wood, and after every 5-6 pieces, I have to readjust the tension. The pieces I am sanding are 3/4” thick, and the pad that butts against the wood gets in the way of sanding. This is easily solved by putting in some small spacer pieces, but I wish the pad were a little bit thinner. It does anchor securely to my MFT table. ... show more

  • Time saver
I used this on a homemade workbench. I have it adjusted almost to the highest tension. I can't see me ever having it lighter in the future in my opinion. lighter tension is to light. like the quick length adjustment and the fast clamping saves a lot of time

  • Duribility
I bought this to help when I am using bench dogs for clamping. Haven’t put it under great pressure as of yet, but what little I’ve used it, I’m happy.

  • Save Time Prepping and More Time Creating
The best tools are the ones that you will use the most. This in-line clamp makes small woodworking applications super easy to perform without getting in the way on tasks such as sanding, using a hand plane, card scraper, etc. There’s much less manual adjusting than other blue clamping brands which saves time and energy. I see myself grabbing this to secure pieces to my workbench a lot in the future. ... show more

  • In-Line Dog Clamp
This is the serious version of the clamps that come with a Festool MFT table, in fact, they work well there too. Very well built, they lock securely into a 3/4 dog hole (using the red knob) with very little pressure. The 3-1/2" stroke allows for many placement options on a work bench. I'm using it for an adjustable planing stop in conjunction with a tail vise, so if I'm working on thin material, I just throw in a piece of shim stock and keep going. Clamping pressure is more than I'll even need. ... show more

  • Okay but inconsistent..
In the end I received 3 of these. One of the first two did not fit snugly in my Festool MFT table. Even with tightening it up all the way there was still play. The company I purchased these from shipped out a replacement and told me to not return the damaged one. As I got into using these to hold a piece of wood in place for sanding I found them cumbersome. They (all 3) would force my piece into a slanted position which would eventually work itself loose. They are difficult to tighten into the 20mm hole by hand ad not have them wiggle. Also while sanding my work piece the adjustment tightening knob would keep working itself loose and fall out after 10-15 minutes of sanding. These seemed like a good resort as opposed to pushing out the big dollars for the festool clamps but I may have to end up going that direction these are almost useless and unreliable. I wanted to like them but they just have too much working against them. Picture attached shows how it hold work piece when using adequate pressure to stabilize piece. ... show more
