It just arrived today and this is fantastic scent. I sprayed 4 sprays so I can let it macerate for a month - to see if it develops any further.. The bottle is beautiful and unique to Armaf (as far as I know). I’d love it more if it were all black or black a s gray - but honestly, it’s such a cool bottle that I don’t mind the browns. It has a similar vibe to cool water BUT hear me out - it’s much better! I haven’t smelled Egoiste so I can’t say if this hits that spot. I love my freshies, my greens, my aquatics - you get it - I love clean scents. Naturally, somewhere along the way, I picked up cool water and - I just didn’t like it. I don’t tend to care how old a fragrance is - if it appeals to me, I’m all for it. Cool water being one of the frags that’s always recommended when you tell people you love a clean scent - I was disappointed. It smells very dated (not in a cool old school way - just maybe what a 90 year old would splash on after a shave) and very sharp - just not for me. So imagine my surprise when I spray Legesi today and my first reaction was - this vibes like CW. But I love it! This somehow takes that same energy but softens it or rounds it out - adds warmth and depth - AND it carries a very modern scent profile. I did not spray it onto me (I’m wearing Eternity Aqua right now) - I sprayed it onto the box it came in, and walked away. I’m now sitting outside writing this review and I can distinctly smell this cologne. It’s really wonderful. It’s not subtle but it’s not beast mode - it’s just unmissable and welcoming and sophisticated. Highly recommend!

Hits all the notes it tries to. I haven't smelled Platinum Egoiste, the fragrance this one aims to emulate, but I would say Legasi is fresh classy and sophisticated. Sillage is moderate, Longevity is decent for this type of fragrance, 4-6 hours

A mix between platinum egoiste Chanel and Dior sauvage. Id say it smells 85% like PEC when it’s first sprayed and dries to be a mix of both. Overall smells great and definitely a good purchase.

I rated this scent against Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male (original in the teal bottle with white stripes) as JPG is my favorite barbershop scent so I gave this 4/5 but as an overall scent vs price package this is 5/5. If I have to paint the picture of this scent I would say someone out the barbershop or a fresh white linen scent. I'd give the bottle 2.5/5 though. Maybe if it was black instead of the brown i'd like it. I have way more expensive fragrances but also appreciate a bang for buck scent.

LEGASI smells very clean, soapy, and fresh. This is office safe and good for multiple occasions. For the price it is a home run, as you really can't go wrong with the freshness and clean soapy smell. Longevity is fair, and projection is just right it seems. If you enjoy this fragrance, I'd recommend going in the direction of Laventure knight by al Haramain, or tries nuit, by armaf. Both are fresh, clean, and have a bit of a different take on the fresh green scent. Imagine comparing soaps like are body wash, Irish spring, or any other big names and their scent profiles. Legasi is not an adventurous fragrance, but it is safe and reliable all purpose and inoffensive.
