I got this specifically to use at work where my face and arms are exposed to direct sunlight. It has definitely proven to work efficiently. It's a vey comfortable fabric, very easy to slide to however length you want. Very easy to wash, which I do often and it's still as good as new. Always keeps my arms cool in this high temperatures. I can't know for sure whether or not this is actually protecting me from UV rays, but I can only assume so as I haven't gotten sunburnt. Very awesome :) ... show more

These sleeves can be quite sexy really. I have two large Dogs and very thin skin from taking a lot of Hormones as well as being older than Moses, when anything sharp hits my back arms I lose a chunk of flesh and bleed like crazy. I have had skin cancer too since my 30's. So having these to block the UV Radiation is a really good idea. These are made of what looks like a heavy high quality Spandex product? A lot thicker and heavier grade than any other Spandex I own. All the edges are reinforced stitching. The Thumb Hole is very well reinforced. I dont think these will do a lot of good for me for Dew Claws and Dog Teeth because my skin underneath is still fragile, but it will help with actual puncture wounds and UV Radiation damage from the Sun and any other source. And if I wear my bracelets over these they can be quite sexy with the right outfit. Where these help me most is UV Protection. And they cover up all my ugly scars and black spots on my forearms. Very nice. Will buy more if ever needed. They are of such a high quality they could possibly last a very long time. Longer than me perhaps? ... show more

The material is thicker than my other sleeves, and it’s soft and comfortable against the skin. It doesn’t get too hot, even when I wear it all day. I wear these as part of my uniform while delivering mail five days a week, and I feel like I don’t need to apply sunscreen when I have them on. The only downside is that they rip pretty easily. These actually fit great . They actually stay up on your bicep I work with them yesterday for about 7 to 8 hours about 5 hours in they got a little loose and pull them up the rest of the day after that . But today I accidentally snagged one and it literally peeled it open I split it open so I was not impressed with that aspect of it but other than that the thumb hole the length the hand size the biceps size everything works really great I wish the bicep part of it had that rubberized material on it that clung to your skin so they didn't slide down after so long but it is what it is . I haven't washed them yet so I don't know how they're going to do in the wash but I would definitely buy more of these . Okay here's the update : this little snag really came apart .
