LOVE this stuff for cleaning my carpets! My dog has some bad allergies and this stuff helps keep everything clean, smelling fresh, and doesn’t affect his allergies at all! The only reason for 4 stars is because upon this delivery, one box was damaged so half of the product is just in the bag that they were secured in. Picture to show. I cannot speak highly enough of this product. I do yoga on my carpet instead of a mat which I know, #1 mistake right there. Well it obviously got very stinky from me rolling around half-naked and sweaty all over it every day. It was strong enough that the smell would emit even outside of the room. I tried literally everything to get rid of the B.O. smell. Carpet shampoos, detergent, regular baking powder, scented carpet powder, essential oils, Febreze, perfume, pinesol, rubbing dryer sheets and deodorant on it, leaving the window open all day - literally EVERYTHING. Then I even paid to have it cleaned/steamed with no results whatsoever; actually I think it made it worse by getting it wet! So THEN I gave up and replaced it with an expensive "odor-shield" carpet. Well seeing as how I'm clearly a glutton for punishment and learned nothing at all, I got it right back stinky in about 5 months. So this time, I was extremely upset that I'd just paid for and replaced the carpet just for it to happen almost immediately again. At this point, I had decided to just rip the carpet out and lay down hardwood. Which is obviously not a cheap renovation. I was dreading paying that and having to do all the research for the wood, scheduling appointments, etc. SO I tried one very last thing. This stuff. Not expecting it would work when nothing else had. I covered the carpet with it, let it sit overnight and vacuumed up the next morning.... THE SMELL WAS COMPLETELY GONE!!!!!!!!!!! Not masked, GONE. I mean I shoved my nose into it and scooted around like dog to try to find one smell of stink left and not a thing. The smell it did leave behind (Oxi Clean) is just wonderful! Smells just like fresh laundry. To top that off, it made the carpet FEEL like fresh laundry... soft and plush. I wanted to wait to leave this review also until I knew the results would last. Well it has been a week and a half and the B.O. smell is still completely banished even with me continuing to exercise and sweat on it. It may need some additional sprinkle and maintenance in the future, but that is absolutely fine by me. So to sum up my TMI, rambling story: This product saved me thousands of dollars, it does EXACTLY what is says it will, it is the ONLY thing I found that worked and I could not be any happier. I love how my area rugs smell after applying this Arm & Hammer powder on them, one treatment last for a few weeks. I use one whole package on my living room rug, but its so worth it. Totally recommend it if you have dogs who likes to use the rugs for a nap from time to time.

Actually lifts odors, not just covers them with a fake fragrance I have an old pup who is progressing in kidney failure & sometimes has accidents. & a younger pup who likes to chew things she shouldn’t & mommy didn’t even realize she could access aka the fitted sheet on my bed- then vomits them later.
