This is my favorite dog toothpaste and brush. The brush is great for big and small sizes. Previously I tried the vanilla toothpaste and it smells very nice, this one not so much. The dogs loves it and his teeth are noticeably cleaner/healthier with fresher breath. If you are considering brushing your dogs teeth I can’t stress enough the importance of dog oral hygiene. Our dog was not impressed with the taste of this toothpaste. We have good success with CET brand. So far my finger is the only way I get the new toothpaste in her mouth. The plastic "finger brush" that came with this product is kind of stiff so I can't accomplish much with it. Forget about the toothbrush. I'm sure others will have more success with either of these implements. ... show more

This is the first toothpaste that the little dog doesn't seem to hate, and it really seems like it's lessening their gum irritation as well. Only downside is that it smells pretty bad, and not at all minty like I said in the title. it works though, so I'll put up with the smell.

Brand packaging was perfect. Arrived on time. Comes with neat finger toothbrush and stick brush. The pros kind of end there I put a tiny dab to try it to see what it was. It says ‘chicken flavor fresh mint scent.’ What they mean is powerful mint flavored baking soda paste with no hint of chicken. A tingling sensation that won’t leave your tongue. My dogs reaction was the same (funny, harmless, but not even worth the $3). Two thumbs down 👎 👎 edit 9/4/23 - i gave this another try and he doesn't mind it. then again and i think he was good with the fresh tingle. it's a lot of song and was probably a shock the first time 😂 i actually call it a win for freshness. it hasn't cut through the calcification but it didn't get there overnight so i'll keep using it. ... show more

After brushing my dogs teeth with this everyday for 4 weeks in a row his breath is about half as bad as it was. He also gets a tooth bone everyday to help with plaque. I am pretty happy with the results so far, his teeth are also starting to look whiter. With this consistency is definitely key.
