The Ariat® Devon Nitro Paddock boot offers an updated look to a classic English riding style. Waterproof full grain leather upper with elastic twin gore. Padded collar and tongue topline. Front antiqued brass YKK® zipper closure for easy on and off. Back pull loop for assisted entry. Interior features X-Static™ technology that is made with 99.9% pure silver and enhances anti-odor performance. It naturally inhibits bacterial growth and has natural temperature-regulating properties, providing a fresher and cooler foot environment. Smooth leather lining for a comfortable interior feel. Cushioned footbed with Shock Shield™ technology in the heel provides excellent shock absorption for all-day underfoot comfort. Lightweight Nitro™ frame for heel and mid-foot torsional stability. Duratread™ outsole is extremely durable and flexible and features rider-tested traction zones. Imported. I am nearly 50 years old and have knee reconstruction in both knees as a hunter jumper! I started this sport in the last year and it worked hard to find the right stirrup irons, As well as footwear to support cushioning my knees and body as well as footwear to support cushioning my knees and body over jumps! Not only do these look fantastic, they are a very stable paddock boot with a lot of support under foot as compared to your traditional paddock boots that’s more flat! This does run a half size too large which is my only complaint with Ariat footwear! I wear a 9 In most shoes and a 9 1/2 in kills on the rare occasion that I wear them, and I had to send these back and exchange them for the 8 1/2 which worked perfectly with thin socks! My knees feel great wearing these boots!!!! ... show more

These boots are attractive and comfortable but they do not fit as well as the Heritage. I had to exchange the first pair for half a size smaller but now the toe portion of the boot isn't quite wide enough. I am keeping them, however, as they are waterproof and not as hot as my other Ariat paddock boots. I am not sure I would buy again as can't justify this price for a boot that doesn't quite fit right. ... show more

Im in love with these boots they are like sliding into a cloud. great shock absorbtion and they seem to be water proof because I wear them to shower my horse and they get soaking wet and no leaks. Sizing is perfect. quality is great. totally recommend

These are my 3rd pair of Ariat's in the last 4.5 years and the most comfortable ones to date. The sole is very cushiony and feels great on the feet. The zipper works far better than my first 2 pairs and they are flexible to bend your ankles while in the saddle. Very impressed with these boots.

These are beautiful, as seen in the photo—the main problem is that the cushiness makes them snug for now, and that suede-like finish inside the ankle won’t allow my socks to slide in. My old ones were great for years with just an insert. Wish I had stuck with those but oh well. These are still gorgeous. ... show more

I have only worn Ariat paddock boots and Tall Field boots and have not been disappointed. I do not have other equestrian boots to compare to. But these paddock boots are the best. Fit is perfect. Hope my new Ariat work boots last longer than these. My wife loves these boots. But for $200 plus boots you expect them to last longer than 3 months. The sole has already split away from the boot.

So far, I like all the things! This is my third pair of Ariats: I’ve had lacers, ropers, and now a pair of English boots. These have so much support in the heel and footbed...way more comfortable at the barn than my ropers I was wearing for chores and riding. It’s like I’m wearing sneakers!
