Not the narrow shaft I was hoping for. I have very skinny calves and looked at boot specs for months trying to find truly narrow calf boots. She has these same boots in black with the wider sqaure toe that fit her well and she wanted another color. The color of this boot is as shown and looks very nice. It's true to size. I wear an 8 1/2 in tennis shoes, sandals and boots, and this boot fit well. It's also comfortable. I bought a couple of boots to try on and ended up choosing a different style, but was tempted to keep this one as well.

Size runs about two sizes LARGE!! Unreal when boots are usually quite difficult to get on and run small. Sending back. Will not be reordering this style but they are made incredibly well. Just know Im a 6.5 shoe across the board and ordered a 7.5 to be safe and they fit my daughters friend who wears a 9-9.5 perfectly.
