I love Ariats, wait let me say that again I love Ariat. I have worn every other brand of boot, as I own a farm they get put through the paces and used well. Mud, Water, Poop, Ice, Snow, Horses standing on my foot. My last pair lasted 2 years and I wore them till the bottoms wore out and the seams gave. If you will be on your feet all day, walking, running, jumping, you will be happy with your feet at the end of the day if you had a pair of Ariats on. My Justins boots make my feet hurt after just a few hours. I have super high arches and these have such awesome support, I pretty much only wear boots as finding anything comfortable for my feet is a challenge. This is the first pair of ropers I have owned. I love the height of this boot it keeps stuff out, ie hay, goat heads, water. This is a very pretty boot I get lots of complements, get asked if they are alligator. They did run a bit sloppy size wise. I always buy the same size but these are a bit big although a half size down would be too small. They are stiff and take some breaking in. So pretty think I will need a different pair for work. Beside a girl can never have too many boots! ... show more

nice boots too bad they don't know what wide means. I agree with the other reviewer who said the double stitching makes it too narrow. the sole is the same width as my other ariats 8c, but the boot itself is much narrower.

Considering they also make hiking shoes, it's no surprise that Ariat makes some of the most comfortable, stylish boots around. I have a wide foot, medium arch and wear between a 7.5 and an 8, depending on the last. The 7.5 fits me just fine, though I did have to break them in to make room for my wooly socks. I also have a pair of the Ariat Tombstone boots which seem a little more well-made. The Sidekick is another fun square-toe variation worth a look. I love the hip wide-square toe on this style. The subtle yet sophisticated blend of chocolate brown and turquoise blue leathers is fun without being too flashy. I really do love these boots. First, the look cool. Love the square toe and have always been a fan of the Ariat insole...so these are great. I did find them to be a bit tight in the toebox...they seemed a bit on the narrower side. Not "narrow" but more than I'd like. However, I will say that I finally put them on, washed a horse and got them soaking wet. I wore them until they dried out and Boom! Now I can wear them all day without the pinching. Maybe it's the finish on the foot part of the boot, I don't know. But I really love them now and I REALLY love the toes. ... show more

I’ve had my eye on these boots for a while. They’re beautiful! However, they’re VERY uncomfortable. They have a seam on the inside that runs from top to bottom and rubs your ankles on both sides (even with taller socks). There’s no way I can wear these in Nashville.
