  • Nice product
Size: 9 Wide Color: Old Black
These boots are great! Very comfortable. Make sure you have comfortable socks on. The first pair I had on caused discomfort in my little toe. I changed my socks and there was no discomfort anymore. Socks matter. The boots are beautiful, stylish and seem to be well made. They take a good shine as well! I purchased size 9 wide. I definitely recommend the wide. I do not have a wide foot but these boots fit perfectly! I highly recommend these boots ... show more

  • Stylish and Comfy
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Old Black
These boots are cute and comfortable - exactly what I was hoping for as my other Ariat boots were great also. I purchased these in black in size 8.5 wide, and they fit perfectly. I don't typically need wide sizes but based on reviews I believe these would have been too tight in regular width. My feet aren't skinny but technically aren't wide either. The black color is versatile and pairs well with different outfits and the quality is great. The zipper makes them easy to put on/off. They're comfortable enough to wear for extended periods and have been my goto lately. Overall, a great western boot that combines style and comfort. ... show more

  • Boots are just Darlin!
This is a very well made boot. Nicely cushioned foot bed with decent arch support. The zipper is a nice feature. Plus it is super cute. Looks nice with casual dress or skirt and very cute with skinny jeans. It would be fine with boot cut jeans but they would hide too much of them. It is comfortable enough to wear for an active day and although I haven't ridden horses in years I think it would be a good boot for pleasure rides, particularly in warmer weather. I believe it runs true to size. This style of boot is rather a "narrow" cut. Like a sheath dress is a narrow fit. My feet are on the wide side I did not find these too narrow. I have an old foot injury on my right foot so I need a bit more space for that one. I just swiped a moistened bar of soap in there and wore with a medium thick sock to expedite the breaking in and give a bit more stretch. They are feeling great after 6 hours. Hint. If attempting to stretch a leather shoe, when you remove it stuff it with dry socks to retain the shape/stretch. This will work if shoes are just a bit too snug. Leather shoes will stretch naturally after a day or so of wear. The soap trick may give you a little additional space much faster. It will not make a size 8.5 feel like a size 9. So if it really is too small don't bother with this step. Save yourself a headache, or a foot ache and get the proper size. I really was not thrilled with the distressed brown color. It looks like the boot got splashed and then dusty. It is pretty subtle so I think I can minimize it even more with a bit of polish. The upside of this finish is that if I do ding it, it won't stand out like a sore thumb. The price point made it worth it to me to get this color. I think these boots will last for years. I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Not for Rocky Terrain
Size: 8.5 Color: Old Black
Cute boots, runs narrow and small. I sized up a half a size to 8.5 but should have also ordered in wide. Purchased to wear to a ranch wedding in Montana. Found the soles to be terribly inadequate for walking on rocky dirt and gravel roadways and rocky dirt paths but fine for sidewalks, pavement and indoors. The Old Black color is nice and versatile and the stitching is classy and subtle. ... show more

  • Love them so much I bought 2 pairs
Size: 6.5 Color: Aged Honey
I thought these were cute and when they were on clearance locally I bought a pair. I wore those out after several years now have come back to Amazon for more. I had no problem paying more for my second pair because I adore these. I get compliments on both pairs/colors all the time. They are a cute cut and can get dressed up or down. They look great with my boot cut jeans or even with skinny jeans or leggings tucked in. You can wear them with a skirt or dress too. The quality is good and I still have minimal wear on the heels and soles after years of wear. The zipper still runs smoothly after wearing 1000 times (not exaggerating). Leather is running a little thin at the flexed part of the boot but that’s very reasonable after goodness knows how many steps. I originally went half a size up and they fit well to start but after being broken in were loose on my feet. I bought my regular size this time. It was tight on my foot and toes at first but after a little wear it fits snugly and my foot is more secure. I recommend enduring a little discomfort to break these in. In my opinion it’s worth it because it will be “customized” to your exact foot in the end. The discomfort and tight feeling is not a flaw of the boot, it’s just part of wearing genuine leather shoes. ... show more

Beautiful boots. I sized up half a size, glad I did. Good quality leather, great for dresses, fits larger leg.

  • Absolutely amazing!
Size: 11 Color: Old Black
If you read nothing else in this review, read this: as with most cowboy/western boots, please size up 1 full size if you want an out-of-the-box perfect fit (with socks). Yes, these are real leather, so they will eventually stretch and form to your foot a bit. I only went up a half size and have to wear thin dress socks with them until they stretch out. Now on to the lengthier review: My grandmother always told me "it's better to spend more money and buy a quality product once, than to spend less and buy a cheaper product many times over." Her wisdom directly applies to shoes, and especially these boots. I've purchased many a pair of cheap knockoff, man-made, faux leather boots. It's never done me any favors. They're uncomfortable, they never form to your foot, and they fall apart way too quickly. I finally bit the bullet and paid the ~$100 for these name brand, real leather, high quality boots. And let me tell you, the second I put them on, I actually teared up! They're quite literally the most comfortable things I've ever worn. I have problematic feet, but I feel like I could walk the world in these boots. I have extremely large calves, but they actually fit them perfectly! They hug my feet and support my arches perfectly, they're unbelievably flattering, and they will last me for years and years to come. If you're considering buying these boots, please, do yourself a favor, don't hesitate!!! Even though the price has gone up, they are still worth every penny. Your feet will thank you! ... show more
