Great boots. I was hesitant about buying because of size issues with other boots. I ware 8, 1/2 but ordered a size 8. In my case, I came down a half size to be safe and that turned out to be a smart move. The fit is good . Genuine leather. Quality all over, inside and out. Very impressed with the inside cushioning. Comfortable. You can tell they went out of their way to fashion it that way . Manly boots . You can't expect complete perfection with any real leather boot the way I see it. I took off the pull strap and dealt with the white stitching, no big deal. I would suggest that Ariat choose a dark gold thread around the edge for this type of boot instead of the white for a solid more blended look but that's just a hint. It will take a while to break them in but for a decent strong pair of boots meant for dress or every day these were worth the extra $. ... show more

I've been through 5 pairs of Chelsea style boots over the years and I've had the Ariat Booker Ultra RTWB for about 2 months now - ordered my exact size, 10.5 - tight at first - felt the arch support pushing my foot against the top of the boot more than usual compared to other brands of Chelsea boots I've had, but I assumed it would stretch over continuous wear. It has stretched slightly and is now more comfortable for all-day wear. It is my go-to for work/office/casual dress. I've received several compliments on them too! Comes with Anti-fungal patch inserts as a bonus. These are very well made - wished I'd bought these earlier - probably wouldn't have needed others if I'd bought these originally!! I bought these for my husband who is a die hard Red Wing boots fan. He wanted a pair of casual boots but wasn't impressed by what Red Wing had to offer in this catergory, so I found these. He's had them for about six months and he loves the fit and how they look. He says they're quite comfortable for casual use which for him consists of the weekends. However, last week the pull tab on the back of one of the boots broke when he was putting them on. It's a minor but disappointing issue for a boot in this price range. He'd been wearing Red Wings for the last 20 years and never had that happen with a work boot. I don't think it's a reason to avoid this boot, however it makes me wonder how they'd hold up with regular every day use. ... show more

These ankle boots are outstanding...I got a size 9.5 M and they fit beautifully. Truly a quality made boot..I have worn full shaft boots in the summer previously and frankly they just get too hot and heavy...I am not twenty-five anymore but these still have a great western styling. I prefer web over a zipper because of zipper malfunctions but the web in these is high enough that your jeans cover it. They also are round toe which getting pushed out by square toe (WT?) boots.
