They look great. I don’t feel like any break in period was necessary. I see a lot of reviews stating that they look used or worn but that is definitely not the case. They do look distressed like real leather should. It’s made a from a cow’s skin. There are no perfect cows. Some people pay more for the imperfections in leather. For example, a branding mark or a scar from a cow rubbing on a barbed wire fence let’s you know it’s real leather. Easy to make fake leather look perfect. Also, who wants to go out in brand new smooth boots and ruin them the first night. Embrace these as looking like you’ve already owned them and didn’t just buy them to look the part at your first rodeo.

After several attempts to order these boots, I finally received a pair and I am glad I was persistent. Not only were these boots very comfortable, but they look great. I attended a country concert a couple days after the purchase. We had to walk a fair amount over the course of the concert and I didn't notice any discomfort or any "hotspots" usually associated with a new pair of boots. If you are on the fence about these boots, I say buy them. I am glad I did!

Great boots. Love the fit (room in the toe box but snug to start over the arch). They’ll break in perfectly, I think. My one quibble, and it’s small, is that the level of “distressed” wear between the two boots was pretty uneven. That could happen with normal wear, but this was a little much. It’s not super noticeable in passing, but kind of obvious with a long look. Still really like them, but it’s noticeable.

I hesitated to buy these boots for months but made the decision recently. Out of the box, these shoes felt broken in. Very comfortable and durable. Style is a person thing but I find them attractive. The only down side, the surface are of the soles are wider than most of my shoes. Driving a manual car that requires a good amount of gear changes will require greater precision to avoid hitting the wrong peddle.

I had to come back and edit my review because the company reached out to me and sent me a new pair of shoes after I sent them these photos. that is excellent customer service, and for that, I changed my review score to 4 stars, However, the below review still stands. Hopefully, this next pair will be better and last longer. These boots were only worn for about 4 months and early on they showed signs of wear, now the stitching has come completely off, they leak water, the sole has come loose from the leather and the tab on the back of the boot that helps you put the shoe on has ripped off. For this much money, I was expecting a boot that at the very least would last a year with moderate use. I want my money back.....

I bought these boots for office work. They are comfortable and stylish. It seems to be well made and the fit is nice. Hopefully it will last for a long while. I recommend these boots if you are looking for something different from the normal everyday footwear.
