This is my 3rd pair of these boots. Good boots, hold up well, and are decently comfortable for work boots. I can usually get anywhere from 6 months to a year out of a pair working in them everyday. The boots are still in good condition at that point, but the soles eventually split enough I just get a new pair. You could probably have then re-soled and double or triple the life. CAUTION!! After owning 3 pairs of Ariat boots, it is a strike out for Ariat, in my book. Close to six months in on this last pair of Ariat work boots and without doubt, for me, there will not be another Ariat purchase in the future. (apparel included, but that's another review) Rather than blab, I will let a few more sentences and a photo say it all... My spouse is a Dr. & and has an above average background in skin issues. When I wear Ariat, in a few hours, my skin has a sever reaction. (I am one of those people who has no known allergies) I am a producer, both in a corporate role and more importantly and separately, I along with my partner run a 40+ acre farm. My foot wear is VERY important to my productivity. An Ariat CS representative (megan) responded with a cut & past form letter to the warranty request I had filed with Ariat online. I recieved a second cut & paste email from (megan) informing me that due to my not responding within an undisclosed time frame (7 days) that my case was closed. (In my warranty statement to Ariat it was very clear the issue was absolutely needing to be addressed. The product harming a consumers skin was VERY clear. These kinds of issues don't get closed Ariat, they get addressed) In conclusion it seems like for some reason any brand I find at Tractor Supply is WAY out of touch with the concept of a customer/business relationship. (And they keep going bankrupt) For me, I will not seek any further Ariat support or purchases. I have work to get done not an image to market Sadly the only pair of boots I can recommend to get the job done are combat boots and I don't wear those anymore. Good luck with your purchase If you got this far and are left thinking " that's a bit of babbling " your right. But after the foot discomfort, it is a fraction of what I want to say! ... show more

Amazing quality and fit. Finish is excellent and exactly what I expect from Ariat. Transition from a riding heel to this boot was minimal. All day comfort and performance.

I wear a size 12 4E in shoes. The size 12 2E fit perfectly. They are a little large. They are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I didn't need any break in time. The flex spot in the back for your heel is a really clever thing. It does make it easier to get my feet in. My first pair of cowboy boots were 1/2 the price but never were comfortable.     • Way too tight!

I ordered these and immediately wore them to work. After a day or so the left boot is terrible tight across the top of my foot. It really hurts, not to mention 3 blisters across my left instep. I know I can’t return them through Amazon now that I’ve worn them to work. Ariat sizing must have changed on me. Can’t even wear 1 pair of wool socks. I have to wear thin cotton socks which is another problem. I guess a 10 WIDE would remedy this. Help me Ariat I sure can’t afford another pair right now! Also I hate to switch brands after all these years. ... show more

Very comfortable shoes! First I was skeptic about the comfort coz it's a boots, but after I used at work for 8 hours. I was convinced about the comfort! I even brought an extra tennis shoes going to work just in case my feet hurt, but end up wearing the boot the whole 8 hrs work duration. I have a Corral boots, paid $400 at Buckle. I won't last 4 hrs. standing and walking around with it. Ariat boots technology is second to none when it comes to comfort. ... show more
