I wanted a good pair of boots to wear at work, I love these so much I'm wearing them all the time now. I'm a pilot and we have a very strict uniform policy at work that allows us to wear boots but they have to have a round toe and black smooth leather. You wouldn't think that pilots do a lot of walking but you'd be surprised, I typically walk 3 to 5 miles a day on average. We have to walk through airport terminals dragging luggage flight kit, changing aircraft sometimes 3 times a day. I often have to walk across the tarmac with everything from oil, hydraulic fluid, fuel, water, slush, snow and mud to aircraft parked off the gate. I wanted a good quality boot that would be very comfortable, have rubber soles for traction and could be worn in the desert in the heat of summer but not freeze me in the north mid winter. These are the boots. It took me about a month to really break them in right, I wouldn't say they were ever painfully uncomfortable even day 1 but after a month they are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. I absolutely love them, I regularly get compliments on how good they look.

Although I like the style of them I was reluctant to wear western boots after much trouble with my knees from the high heels and hard soles. Not only do these fit exceptionally well, are stylishly crafted and built to last, they are comfortable and easy to wear and walk in. In fact on occasion I have walked 2 miles up an asphalt road with my feet completely comfortable. I happened to be wearing them an event with the CEO of a large footwear company who said, "Nice boots."

I really like these boots a lot. I have a pair of Justin's I wear daily while working with the horses but they look a little rough so I wanted a pair of "clean boots" for regular wear. I'm really happy with these. They look really nice and fit good. I wore them for a day at work and they are breaking in nicely. Ariat is known for their quality and these are no exception. The uppers are slightly darker than they appear in the picture. They are just a little lighter in color than the lower. I was worried that that they would be lighter color than I would like but they look nice. Overall they are really nice boots that should last a long time.

These boots are great. Nothing too fantastic or flashy. They’re comfortable enough that I wore them walking around Philadelphia for most of a day without any bother. They shine up really nicely so I can wear them out at a job site or in a meeting. They’re a great all around pair of boots.

A few years ago our sister was getting married and we needed wedding boots. My other half decided on his Ariats and I have mine. At first his were just a bit tight which can happen with leather boots. A quick soak and then warm stretch and they fit like a glove. The insert they came with wasn't the most supportive so that was swapped for one designed for hard work. He continued to wear them, oil them and loved them. Fast forward a few years and the soles are still good. Unfortunately he wore them so much that the seams began to split. Nothing else wrong with the boots so of course he continued to wear them even though I told him they needed to graduate to sxxx kicker status. The man would not let go of his boots! He just wore slightly longer pants, haha. Finally I just met him in the middle and ordered a new pair of the exact same boots (plus an insert). I did slightly change the size since the last ones were tight and these fit like a glove. Same number just a different letter which notates the width/fit. Ariat lists sizing on their website and here on Amazon so if your boots don't quite fit look into that. There was no need to have a breaking in period on the new boots. With the added insert for work he said that the new boots fit perfect. He works 10+ hours walking on solid concrete so anyone who has experience with how that can hurt your feet knows good shoes/inserts help! He does have heel pain from before the boots but that only really flairs up when he switches to another shoe. Overall I highly recommend these. Their insert is average for comfort so I can't really knock that. I do recommend though finding an insert that fits your use. The leather in these is high quality and the soles are made to last.

Bought a size “EE”, so narrow they could be a size “C”. Couldn’t get my foot in them. Also, the description states “100%” leather. I dispute this. While the boot (foot) part is indeed leather, the shaft seems more like a vinyl or imitation leather. Very disappointed in this company.

They are ariats, I expect nothing but perfection from them, always get it. I go through a pair ever couple years as I actually work in them. This specific pair I did buy as my clean pair for going out whenever the opportunity arises. They fit perfect, need broken in obviously it takes a little bit to do that. I would recommend different insoles as they ones that come with it are flimsy and hurt my feet out of the box, switched them for my Dr sholes and we're good to go.

Bought these to replace those that hubby had from BootBarn to wear to work. I liked that they had a design but it didn't show on the toe so he could wear them to the office too. He loved them! Also a plus is the look of the sole and heal. He's got more traction than his older boots but the sole doesn't spay out around the bottom as many do. I understand that on the ones people get for work on properties but,it's ugly to me as a design feature. Husband says they are comfortable too, he and co-workers walk the block several times each day in good weather so comfort is a plus.
