I got 12 inches size, the boots indeed very comfortable, the leather is thick and very tough, the cushion is good enough and no stress on my foot. You can wear it comfortably the whole day. Really liking these boots. Be aware this is a pull-up type leather that will change color and take on a very distressed look. Exactly what I was looking for. Very rugged looking, but can also dress up an outfit thanks to the narrower square toe. The boots fit bigger length wise (I'm a 10/10.5 and had to order a 9.5) but also rather narrow if you have a wide foot (I had to buy an EE). Once you get the fit right, these boots are insanely comfortable. They're great for tackling New England winter storms, and hold up super well in bad weather. Plus, they're very handsome, and still maintain a rugged look.
