I had my doubts with the size I got but I order true to my normal shoe size rather than what I usually get in a boot and wow, for just right. Itโs the only thing I put on now. I normally wear a 12W or 13 in boots, dress shoes, sneakers, etc. I bought a 12W the first time around and they were so oversized I could fit a finger between my heel and the back of the boot. And the left boot was about half a size larger than the right boot. So I sent those back and went to an 11.5W and they're still a bit large; I'm having to wear extra thick socks to keep myself from sliding around. The arch support is good and my feet aren't tired at the end of a day; the boots aren't too heavy and the mesh panels on the shaft help with ventilation when wearing lighter weight pants. The look is nice; the suede is consistent in the base color and there's no flaws or scars in the leather. They have a "pre-worn" look to them which is nice; I really don't like the "glowing clean" look of some suede boots when they're new. Tread is nice and has a rubber/synthetic insert for good traction on wet surfaces. Haven't had a chance to check them on sand over concrete or smooth rock yet beyond just walking. But they squeak. Like loud. Like REALLY loud. Both boots squeak like I'm passing gas with every step. The left boot squeaks louder than the right. It's coming from the arch area, under the insole. Either they didn't glue things properly there or there's a material/product problem with the assembly. Boots shouldn't squak this loud. I've tried baby powder under the insole to no avail. My next step will be to soak 'em and walk 'em dry to see if the materials squeaking will rub smooth faster. Sure as snot won't be a sneaky fellow with these boots on. Overall, a fair boot. But not worth $200+ with these steady QC issues. A fair reminder to not buy boots online unless you're buying something you've already owned.

Love the boots, but too much heel slip and toes are too far back from the end of the boot. Seems they are a half size too bit, I ordered a half size down
