ignore the ghetto pictures lol but these are SO NICE and so comfortable. i don’t even think i’ll need to break them in at all. you can definitely smell the real leather as soon as you open the box. i’m a size 8 with pretty normal to narrow feet and these fit very true to size for me. super easy to get on and off. you might not be able to see, but there were some scuffs on one boot but not on the other, however i’m really not worried about that because i figure it comes from them moving in the box during delivery, and i am planning on conditioning them up anyway which should help. (in case anyone reading this doesn’t know, that’s what you’re supposed to do with leather anyway so if you’re planning on ordering these, get the ariat boot conditioner) ... show more

Love the boot. Bought these to replace a pair that I purchased 1 month before finding out I was pregnant with my daughter. Unfortunately after pregnancy my feet were larger and my old ones no longer fit. However, I will say these are true to size. I was basing my fit on my old boots and I went from a 7.5C to a 9C and I think I will be exchanging for an 8.5C as there was TONS of room in my toe box. Also, I will state the leather is very stiff and I will probably steam the 8.5's when return this pair before I put them on again. I have very high arches and it was difficult to get my foot into the 9's but once I get the correct size and steam these babies are going to fit like a glove. Some other ideal factors that are going into my exchange instead of return is that they are quality leather, very well made, and super light weight wise. I plan to update my review once I get my exchange. ... show more

I purchased these boots because I've been looking for cowgirl boots with rubber, work-boot soles, that are good for working at the barn but are attractive enough to wear with jeans to a social outing. These definitely fit the bill! I saw from other reviewers that you should size down. I wear a 7.5 or 8 depending, so I ordered a 7.5. They fit a bit narrow and they are very difficult to get on...and I do not have a wide foot. However, all new cowgirl boots are this way until they are broken in, so I did not mark them down since this is to be expected. I have somewhat wide calves, so I always worry about purchasing boots online, but I didn't need to worry, these boots have a lot of space if calf circumference is a concern for you. If I were buying these from a store, I would probably get the size 8 due to the narrowness of the boots, but the 7.5 will be fine so long as I don't wear thick socks. The leather appears to be very thick, very high quality. The color is a little darker than pictured, but I like them enough that I'm not going to return for that reason alone. The boots are VERY comfortable once on. I could definitely work all day in these boots. I'm so glad I found these! They are offered at a very good price for what you get! I paid $140ish for boots that are usually priced around $200. ... show more

Got these boots and loved the way they fit and felt, but wasn’t crazy about the color. I figured they’d break in and look better, but they really didn’t. I was kicking myself for not returning them while I had the chance, and decided to make a little adjustment. Wow, I love them now!! I took some medium and fine grit sandpaper to them, and now they have exactly the look I wanted. I basically sanded off all the shiny surface, and then added a little extra “aging” to them. They are so much prettier and softer feeling now. The stitching really shows nicely. If you can get them for the right price, it’s worth the effort, although I’m sure they are no longer waterproof (I didn’t need them to be). They look like a more expensive pair of boots now! ... show more

Narrow in the footbed, they hurt your feet, instep is too low, too long in the footbed. Extremely disappointed. This brand was supposed to be best, my $30 cowgirl boots fit me better. If I hadn't thrown the boxes out, I would have returned them, for $170, these Boots should go in the garbage. What a shame, I was so looking forward to receiving them. I wear a seven and a half, I ordered an eight. They hurt your ankles, they just hurt all the way around. Horribly uncomfortable, torturous in fact. Don't buy them. This is my 4th pair of Ariat boots, it’s my go to boot for riding, dancing, walking. I have slender feet so I am mindful of getting a boot that fits perfectly. This boot fits perfectly on my feet it’s a size 8 and medium width. I normally wear a size 8.5 in regular shoes and a 9 in tennis shoes to walk or run in. I was a little unsure of the color, because it looked orangey. Actually it’s more of a bronze copper color 😊 yea. This boot is comfortable right out of the box, as all Ariat’s are. For the price it’s a excellent value. If your unsure of boot size Ariat has a measuring guide and is printable, you actually place your foot on it with or with socks. This should give a better idea what size will fit best. ... show more
