My teenage son wanted a new rug for his room and this is perfect! Glad we went with this size almost went with the smaller size. Doesn’t seem to shed but have inly had it for a month, lays nice and flat to the floor. The rug is a nice silky texture and stays in place. Love the dark charcoal color.

I love this rug so much that I got actually three of them, same color in green for my toddler’s playroom. It is incredibly soft and it’s really well-made. It’s easy to clean. It’s a must if you’re trying to make a cozy area.

Cute, soft, and affordable. Because of its large size it is not at all easy to clean. It smelled really bad upon arrival (kind of chemically) so I felt like I needed to clean it. I got this same rug in 5×7 and it smelled so the same way so I threw it in the washing machine (despite the instructions warning against washing machines) and it came out fine and smelling clean. This one however was much too big for out washing machine, i hand washed it the tub...never again will I ever do that. It took me HOURS to wash and ring the soap and water out and it took the rug 3 whole days to dry! Worst experience ever! But once it was dry I was able to place it in our bedroom and all was well. For others who are put off by bad and chemically oders, if you order a rug bigger than a size 5×7 I suggest using some type of cleaning spray and febreeze to get rid of the oder. Do not handwash it yourself unless you want to spend hours washing with not only your hands, but your feet, and ringing out water for hours and hours with your entire body and it still not being dry. 😅we live and we learn. Anyways, because this rug is for my bedroom it won't ever get dirty, so i wont have to worry about leaning it again, however if you're looking for a large soft rug for your kids, this one is a really bad choice. When they get it dirty it will be almost impossible to clean. However, if you get it in a size 5×7 or smaller you can just throw it in the wash on a gentle cycle and it'll be fine

So we ordered the smaller rug but could have kept the bigger one since we decided to lay it from the wall to under the bed. It covers the gross carpet that is in the bedroom at this college apt complex. We were told it would be hardwood but whatever. Since this is on carpet it grips the carpet well. The only good thing about having the disgusting carpet is that it has a carpet pad underneath so this super thin rug has some cushion under it. I will say it again, my daughter loves the color! However we will definitely through this out since it touches gross carpet. Will buy it again for next year if she sticks to the same color scheme. It’s fine for the three months my daughter will use it in college 1st semester. When she leaves to go abroad we’ll see if we keep it. It is no where near as fluffy as the pictures make it look. It does have a smell as others have stated. It smells like a freshly painted room and it dissipated quickly. At no point did the odor spread throughout our home as others have mentioned. Not sure if that has to do with the size of our home. The color is spot on and my daughter likes. It grips the carpet well; we’ll see how it does on the hardwood in her apartment when she moves in at school. We bought the rug to put under her bed so when she gets up in the mornings she doesn’t have to step on the bare hardwoods. This is not something I would put in my home or use for long term purposes. For a year in college it’s fine.
