  • Awesome ski pants! ⛷️Cut generously to allow for layers underneath.
Color: White Size: Large
Imma be honest… I’m 5’5” and weigh 152 lbs right now. I carry my weight in my gut, with 37” hips and 32” squishy waist, much like the Grinch. I wear size 8 jeans, sometimes 10 depending on the cut, I broke my ankle, couldn’t walk for over a year and gained a “little” weight. I’m used to high end gear, but I wanted a pair until I lose the weight and didn’t want to spend much money. So I tried these because they met my criteria and have good reviews, and WOW they exceeded my expectations! I ordered a large to have room to layer underneath, but they’re comically huge! I’m wearing tights under these pants in my pictures, not the grey pants in the picture where I measuring my hips (although I’m wearing tights under those pants, too), but regular tights. They’re a true 31 inch inseam which is actually a little bit too long, and I have long legs. Fortunately, I have time to send them back and get a medium. You need to know these Arctix ski pants are ski pants. In other words, the bottoms flare out to go over your ski boots, and they have an inner gaiter at the ankles to keep the snow out. These features make them superior for skiing, cumbersome but possible for shoveling snow, but not appropriate for walking or running. Plus IMO, the legs are a bit disproportionately wide esp through the calves, and this type of fabric makes a substantial “swoosh” noise when you walk, more so than my high end ski pants do. Nonetheless, they’re way better quality than I expected at this price! The fabric feels quite sturdy, there’s is plenty of insulation, and they’re made very well except one seam has about an inch of strange stitching if you look really closely, but no one else would ever notice, and to save $1-300, it’s a decent trade off! I got white, and it’s a bright white, which I wanted because it matches the trim on three of my ski jackets even better than the black ones I’ve bought for the last 20 years. And the grey accent color is a nice touch. They look high end. I haven’t wore them skiing yet, but I had to take them off twice while taking these pics because I got hot, and it’s only 62° in here, so I’m sure they’ll be plenty warm. They’re comfortable. There is sturdy Velcro at the waist to adjust it tighter if you have the good fortune of having an hour glass shape, but you might need a belt, too, because one fall might pull it open, and that would be a bad time for your pants to fall down! Overall, I definitely recommend these pants for skiing! ⛷️ ... show more

  • AWESOME women Arctix womens snow pants
Color: Black Size: Medium Short
I’ll be spending a week in the snow. I ordered some “slim” fit snow pants with a huge amount of good reviews and was incredibly disappointed. First, they’re mens cut - weird awkward fit - second, they just weren’t warm. I was in dry 63 degree weather and I may as well have been wearing jeans. So, I ordered Arctix brand womens snow pants. Much much more insulated. Actually cut for a woman’s form so they fit very well! I’m not in the snow yet but it’s a windy 50 degree day and I was as warm as I could possibly be - I ordered another pair right away! For me, they run a bit big but not so big that they look clownish. Big enough to slip some thermal pants underneath (for the snow) and still be comfortable. You can adjust the waist on these because they have sturdy Velcro - there’s also loops for a belt. I freaking love these. Forget the slim look - yeah they’d be cuter but you’ll be freezing. These also have room to comfortably go over your snow boots on the bottom - OR - as I did, fold back once down near the cuffs (we used to call this pegging our pants back in the 80’s haha) and bring my boots up over them - tie boots snugly and they feel softer than the sock and boots only. Highly recommend! Arrived next day! I’m 5”6 and weigh probably 132 pounds right now. I have short legs so I got the medium short size and they’re a freaking dream! PS - they look really good! I’m pleasantly surprised with how great they look for well insulated snow pants. Don’t hesitate - get these! EDIT TO ADD - I had my week in the snow. From 40 degrees to 19 degrees - the pants totally kept me warm. The snow pretty much rolled right off - I can’t speak to how water resistant these are because it wasn’t slushy snow - but I’ve got to think they would’ve been at least a LITTLE wet. They weren’t. Loved these. So warm that when I went to a bar after hiking in the snow - I was pretty toasty and went outside a few times to cool off. Definitely warm. Definitely comfortable. Definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Good quality snow pants
Color: Amethyst Size: 2X
I am 5”7 & 216pounds & I got the XXL in purple & they are big in the waist but I can wear a belt, it’s a little loose around my legs but I can’t imagine it being any tighter because I wouldn’t be able to bend, I carry my weight in my hips, butt, & thighs. I couldn’t pass up this deal, the purple xxl pair was being sold for $17 instead of $50 like the rest of the colors so I said, why not. I was satisfied when they arrived & was surprised there was NO damage or stains & the tags were still on. I can’t believe I got these for such a great price. I’ll upload pics later. I gave it 4stars because I wish the pants had a stretch to them, I can’t imagine a form fitting pair being able to work because you wouldn’t be able to bend. I LOVE that the pants have a way to tighten them at the waist, it helps SO much! Definitely warm & water resistant. I usually always choose black since I’m thick but I’ve been trying to wear more colors & learn to love myself while trying to loose weight & the purple XXL was the only pair on sale for $17. I HATE being cold so I love these pants. Since they are a little big I can EASILY wear another layer or two underneath but I have wore them with no layers underneath & they kept me warm. Definitely good quality. Happy with this purchase. ❤️ ❄️ 👖 I just washed them & I recommend hanging them to dry. They washed well & it didn’t damage them at all, I did it on a delicate cycle. ... show more

  • You might want to size up
Color: Black Size: Large
I was looking for new snow pants to play outside with my kids. I came across these and for the price thought I would give them a try. First I ordered an aqua pair and when they arrived, I apparently ordered a size small by mistake. I recorded a size medium which is what I typically wear. When I tired the mediums on I could get them closed but it was tight, and they were tight to bend through the hips and thighs. (I'm a curvier built). So third time's a charm and I ordered a large. They fit good through my legs, the waist is a little bit but they have Velcro adjusting on the side. They felt warm wearing them indoors, can't wait to try them out in the snow! ... show more
