I bought these to go skiing this weekend so I haven’t used them yet (will update after), but the fit and look are perfect! For reference I’m 5’7 and 161 right now (athletic build). I bought a Medium and they’re perfect. They come up to actual waistline and length was just right as well. I tried them on with lounge pants under, but plan to wear legging underneath and there’s plenty of room for that. Pockets are zip so that’s great and there are adjustable Velcro straps on the waistband. ***Important— I used the tag size chart from the pants that someone previously posted and not the size chart on amazon and fits just right. I’d recommend doing the same, I’m posting the size chart from the tag as well*** [Update]- These pants kept me beyond warm on my ski trip! They are warm, waterproof, and give full range of motion. They did get a small rip on the bottom by the shoe area, but in the pants’ defense I probably had 5+ nasty wipeouts. Lol. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

So, I have never snowboarded in anything but Columbia. I really wanted a cute pattern and time was running out to get some new pants to try out! I ordered these and OMG I love them. Sizing- I read a lot of reviews about ordering a size up, so I’m usually a M in everything and I ordered a L and I had to return them and get a M. There’s plenty of space in the M still so I would just order the size you think you are! I was worried that these might not be warm, HOLY MOLY every time I took these off I was sweating! I love these insulated pants! I bought them to walk the dog, so I'll have no excuses rain, sleet, snow, wind...whatever hits I'll be ready. I was very surprised with the quality of the material, craftsmanship, and comfort. These were very inexpensive and hit all my must haves....I can not recommend them enough. Uodate- it snowed this weekend and I walked the dog in 20 degree weather. I was very comfortable, could have stayed outside all day in these pants. Plus they wash well. Wore these to go skiing! I’m still learning to ski so I didn’t want to invest big dollars into a pair of ski pants. They definitely did the job. I fell many times and never felt water come through my pants. I was warm the whole time I was skiing (I did wear leggings underneath). So I was in the middle of a winter hike when I realized that a layer of thick sport spandex and a layer of running pants were not cutting it for trekking through the cold snow. As soon as I got home, I jumped on Amazon and I started looking for a light weight, moderately insulated, water resistant snow pant. These snow pants had the best reviews and price for a light weight sport snow pant with moderate insulation. I am between a size 16 and 18 - I ordered a 2X and I could have gotten away with a 1X. Luckily I have been wearing these snow pants with layers underneath and so the extra room has not been a huge issue. As far as features go, there are many. The pants have a zipper at the ankle to help the leg fit over boots and there is an elastic layer underneath to keep snow from creeping up and into the ankle. At the waist there are loopholes for a belt, a grommit for a caribeener, elastic at the side hips to further tighten or loosen the waist and a three-part clasp system that starts with a zipper, then two snaps reinforced by velcro. The pockets are lined with a really warm gray fleece and have zippers. If you are like me and lose fifteen chapsticks per season, then you are going to love the zippered pockets as much as I do. I wore these a few weekends ago to shovel out a driveway by hand in zero degree weather in New Hampshire. I found that the pants stayed dry and warm and were not way too hot considering my exertion levels.
