Just received them today and I am amazed at the perfect fit! Pant shopping is often a challenge for me, since I have a fairly straight figure and am thinner than average but medium height (120lbs, 5'6"). As a result, most pants either fit too loose around the waist or slightly short. These pants, however, are comfortably snug at the waist, good length, and not overly baggy in the hip/thigh region. They feel loose enough to wear a thin layer underneath, although they are warm enough that I doubt I'll need another layer in most cases. Maybe they would not work well for someone more curvy, but for me these are exactly what I've been looking for. I think they will be great for hiking in the colder months. I like that they are not bulky like ski pants or noisy when I walk. ... show more

Thoughts on size/fit: I literally read hundreds of reviews (obsessed, I know) to find the best fit for my straight figure. According to the size chart for these snow pants I would need an XL in the waist and a M in the hip. I decided to order the L and hope for the best. Well, they fit great! They are slightly big, but I can easily wear a belt and can also fit leggings under them on especially cold days. They don't cut into my stomach when bending down which would be so uncomfortable when putting on my snowshoes or XC skis or picking up after my dogs. Thoughts on the actual snowpants: First of all, I'm a black, gray, neutral kind of gal, when it comes to clothing. I decided to order the plum pants and am so pleased! Cute color and goes well with my plain, dark jackets. The pants themselves feel stretchy and comfy. I got them today, immediately put them on and took my dogs for a walk in about 30 degree temperatures for about 30 minutes. The snow that gathered at the bottom of the pants skimmed off and didn't soak in at all. The pockets are fleeced lined and deep. I felt warm and also stylish compared to the big, bulky, snow pants I wore in the past. Since I just received these, I can't comment on durability. I highly recommend these if your shape is more straight than hourglass. Update: I have worn these snow pants for one full winter and they have held up well. I mostly walk in them, so nothing too strenuous. For size reference: I am 5'6" tall and weigh 165 or so. I bought the large size and they fit nicely with room for layering. The sizing his way off. I’m 5’6” and 117# figured I would buy the S to be able to fit other leggings underneath. There was an extra 3 inches at the waist and hips with no chance to make a S work. Otherwise, comfortable pants and I like the fleece lining, but the powder cuff is longer than the pant like if you’re going to wear them with something other than a snow boot. ... show more

Giving 5 stars even though I didn’t keep them. I loved these, but I ordered a size 4 and they were too snug and sadly the size 6 would not arrive before we left on vacation - totally my fault & I was so sad that I did not order both sizes at the same time! Ugh! These were exactly what I was looking for, a fleece lined softshell pant that was a pant, not a ski pant. And this color was beautiful! Nice thickeness, seemed well made and a great overall fit. I won’t say they run small because every brand fits different, I just ordered the wrong size. If I lived in an area with cold winters (meaning that I’d use these daily) I would have definitely ordered the size 6, but I only needed them for a trip so I did not re-order. ... show more

Worth the money. I just bought these for the recent snow we had ! The pants were great to be outside in and kept me warm. Definitely true to size- I’m 5’3 and bought a medium. I wore leggings underneath comfortably (you can’t layer these over jeans just fyi). I'm one of those people who are annoyingly cold all the time. I bought these to wear into the office. Maybe a little extreme, but I've tried everything else. I liked the look as they are not obviously the snow pants we all think of when we hear the term "snow pants." I ordered my regular size due to numerous reviews who said these were roomy enough to fit other pants on underneath. Maybe that is the truth for a body type that isn't mine. They are big in the legs, but pretty uncomfortably tight in the waist. I was able to button them so there's that. Going up a size seems like they will be comically large in the legs so I will persevere... or lose weight. One of the two. A little elastic in the waist would have made the world of a difference. Sizing aside, they are soft, comfortable, and my legs have been warm all day. I won't get to test them in the snow because it doesn't do that where I live. Maybe one day. ... show more

I’m 5’2”, 190lbs these are super comfy and warm. The 31” length is a bit deceptive (don’t judge them by when you take them out of the package, put them on) they will go over your shoes and heels nicely. I would buy them again and recommend them!

These are really nice ski-snow pants and I am very happy with the quality, especially given the great price. They have a nice fleece lining and I had no problem pulling them up over leggings. They would not fit well over regular pants, like jeans in my opinion but leggings or fleece leggings underneath are perfet. Two things they could do to improve. 1: make the waist a little roomier and add in a velco adjuster to loosen or make tighter. The size M *8-10 fit me perfectly everywhere but the waist which is about 1/2 inch too small. I wear a regular size 8 so if you are actually a size 10 you might need to go up one size. I am keeping the pants because a size L *12-14 would be too large everywere else and would be baggy in the legs and butt area. 2: add zippers to the bottom so they fit more easily around wide boots. ... show more
