  • Warmer than expected but not as waterproof as desired
Color: Blue Night Melange Size: Small/32" Inseam
These fit well, just as expected, we purchased 3 pairs for women that wear pant sizes 2-10. All fit great, comfortable over other pants. These pants definitely increased the warmth, more than I expected because they are fairly thin and light weight. Unfortunately the 2 women that were snowboarding did get somewhat wet through the pants. Not as wet as they would have been if not wearing these on top, but still some moisture got thru these pants and onto the layers below. Overall excellent product for the value ... show more

  • Buen pantalón, cuidado con el talle
Color: Charcoal Size: Medium/32" Inseam
... show more

  • Best Snowpants Ive Had!!
Color: Black Size: Medium/32" Inseam
I was looking for a pair of snowpants that wouldnt break the bank but also be good for snowboarding. These being kind of on the cheaper side made me hesitant but figured it was worth a shot. I could not be happier with these snow pants! Ive had pants that cost 3x more and arent as nice or as warm. These are an absolutely amazing pair for the price and so glad I bought them! ... show more

  • Good value but choose next size up from what chart recommends
Color: Black Size: Large/32" Inseam
This is a hard review to write so I will try to be fair. The first pair I ordered were L which was the size for my body size according to the chart, however they were significantly too small. I exchanged them for XL and they fit quite well. On the good points, these pants are excellent value for the money, the material is good quality the construction is pretty decent and the poppers, velcro and zips work well to fasten them on. They are also very good in serious cold weather (-19F) and keep you warm and wind tight even in 20mph artic winds. However on the negative side I bought these for walking my dog and when I blow the snow from around my house. The pair they replaced were also for snowboarding or snow sports but the pant ends unzipped completely. If you just want them to go over your boots after you put them on, then these are excellent as they will do that and having the folded guzzet of material behind the zip in the pant leg will make them more air tight and water/snow tight. However you cannot put them on without taking off your boots because of that feature. On the bizarre side I cannot fathom why anyone would want venting slots with zippers on the inner thighs, all this does in make for something to open when you don't want it open or to go wrong and to add needlessly to the manufacturing cost. Overall I am very pleased with these pants and as long as you don't mind putting them on before your boots or don't mind taking off your boots to put them on then these will work for you but I would recommend a size up from whatever the chart says. ... show more

  • Nice Pants!
Color: Black Size: XX-Large/32" Inseam
Nice waterproof ski pants. Lined but not insulated, very comfortable, nice pockets and for the sale price I paid, way more than worth the money. Now seeing the quality I would be willing to pay more for another pair if I ever need them.

  • Good for the price, the size description is spot on which was a bit bad on my case.
Color: Charcoal Size: X-Large/32" Inseam
The size is spot on according to the chart. I got an XL which states 40-42, I'm 38-40 so the L would have been too tight and the XL was too lose. The product differed than the picture, the adjusting straps were on the inside and NOT on the outside like shown on the picture, and they did little to nothing to resize the waist. The first day, it was horrible as they kept falling down, really awkward being in the snow with thick gloves not being able to pull them up. The second day I decided to put pants with a belt underneath them and since the straps are inside, I looped them through the belt somewhat as a suspender system to keep them from falling down. Other than that, they kept me worm and were not bulky. ... show more

  • Worked out great for beginner skier
Color: Charcoal Size: Medium/32" Inseam
I bought these with some hesitation given some of the reviews which showed rips the seams, however, mine were well constructed and I'm quite happy with these ski pants. - They fit well over the ski boots. The inner layer is stretchy with grippy like material and a hook to make sure they secure over the boot snugly. Zippers on the outer layer also allow you fit over the boot very easily. - As far a noise, they do make a little noise when walking but wasn't an issue at all for me. Wore them out and about to dinner afterwards without any concern. - Has vents on the inner thighs in case you get hot - I normally were 32x32 and ordered a medium (I'm 6'1", 185lbs) . Didn't wear anything else underneath and needed to adjust the waist tabs to their smallest setting and wear a belt. Length was great, if slightly long when wearing regular shoes. - Laid in the snow a few times at end of the run and had no issues at all with them getting wet Looking forward to my next trip back to the slopes with these. ... show more

  • The pants are great...the fit, not so much.
Color: Charcoal Size: Medium/32" Inseam
When I opened the package I was pretty excited because the pants appear to be very nice. While there isn't any doubt that the pants are well worth the price, the fit chart was way off for me. I wear a 32 waist in every pair of jeans I own. Knowing that I may want to put a pair of base layer pants under these I wanted to go with a size that left we with a little room. The medium calls for a 32-34 waist so I thought that would be just right. When I put the pants on I had to really work to get the bottom at the top and it was very tight through the thigh. Self admittedly I am not a gap model and I have muscular thighs so typically I wear something that isn't fitted through there but these would not allow my leg to step up on a 2' step with the fit. I'm not sure if a large would have worked but I suspect it would have, it is hard to keep trying when it costs me $6.99 to get it to me and $11.00 for me to send it back. Each time I'm wrong I'm out almost $20.00. Again please know that the construction appeared to be very nice and had they fit well they would have for sure gotten a 5 star rating but for me the fit was way off. ... show more

  • Fit and material not good, look cheap, stay away from this brand
Color: Black Size: Medium/32" Inseam
Tried a number of Arctix snow pants on account of the numerous positive reviews. These "premiums" were the worst ones. They are considerably thinner than the regular snowboard cargo pants, but are seemingly cut to most of the same measurements. The sizing on the regular snow pants already doesn't make sense, and the reduced thickness makes the premiums look and fit comically badly. Specifically: 1. Sometimes the waist of Arctix brand size small snow pants is 34" and sometimes it's 37.5" - which depends on color. Medium seems to usually be 37.5" even if the small is also 37.5". The stretchy bands in the belt (which are sown in asymmetrically by the way) are barely capable of accounting for this gap and as a result you have to be sized lucky to get a good waist fit. This is exacerbated in the premium version because there is so much less insulation padding. 2. The story's basically the same with the hip sizing - small is typically either 41" or 45" by color, and medium is 45". There are no straps to speak of here so if you're in between, you're out of luck. The thin premiums are sized at 43" in medium so at least they made an adjustment there. 3. The inseams and outseams are all over the place, varying by color, and by EACH INDIVIDUAL COPY. Size small inseams seem to be 29-31", size medium inseams 30-32" - all were 32" versions. The outseams are 40-42" for small and 42-44" for medium. Arctix does say +/- 1", but what they smartly leave unsaid is that your individual random combination of measurement errors will frequently add up to a collective difference in fit that's a lot more severe. I only ordered so many pants to compare and get the right fit, mainly cause there were a lot of cool colors and designs I liked and I really wanted to find one that fit. When that didn't work out I thought maybe the premiums. They fit like a sack of potatoes and that could totally be because the waist is 1" larger, the outseam is 1" longer and the inseam is 1" shorter than intended. If I had the patience to keep reordering them maybe I would eventually get lucky with the right combination. 4. Seemingly all Arctix snow pants have a very flared boot opening that looks bad and cheap - they're too large even for a snowboard boot, much less a regular boot. Strangely the snow gaiter diameter changes with respect to pant size and many smalls are too tight and many mediums are almost too loose making me wonder about the large. The looseness of the premiums kinda hid this a little bit, a happy accident. Save yourself time and a headache and just go to a reasonably priced snow gear store, the price premium is worth it. ... show more

  • Excellent quality for price
Color: Black Size: Medium/32" Inseam
Originally bought women's version in size medium. They fit well save for the thighs being too tight, so I tried the men's version in a medium as the sizes seemed very close on the size chart, which I thought a bit odd, but going by the chart they should have fit comfortably. Larger than I need and am returning. However, as. long-time skier who skis 50-60 days/season, these pants impressed me as being very high quality for the price. I'm very disappointed they didn't fit me. Two items to note: the snaps are difficult to undo, felt I might pull them from the material and the material is "noisy"- makes a swishing sound when you walk. ... show more

  • I haven't worn these outside yet but they fit nicely over a pair of sweatpants and felt/looked very nice
Color: Charcoal Size: Medium/32" Inseam
I haven't worn these outside yet but they fit nicely over a pair of sweatpants and felt/looked very nice. I do have one immediate complaint (hence the 4 stars) that may affect your decision on whether to purchase the pants. The top two buttons are incredibly difficult to unbutton because it feels like you are going to rip the pants. In fact, my wife was laughing at me that I couldn't unbutton the pants (I was trying to be gentle) so she gave it a shot and ended up breaking one of the buttons. The face of the button came off and the closure is still connected to the other side. The face falling off allowed me to get out of the pants but now I have to fix the button... Most people might find this to be a deal breaker but for the value of the pants - it didn't matter much to me. (I could have spent $30-150 more on snow pants or fixed a button... I'll take the button.) ... show more

  • Nice pants that don't fit despite ordering "correct" size
Color: Black Size: Large/32" Inseam
Product seems to be of decent enough quality for the price. Three stars because the fit was just not right for me. I am 6', 200 lbs, average build with a bit of a beer gut, and I am pretty much a 35" waist (have some jeans that are snug at 34", loose at 36"). I ordered a large, which should be good for a 36-38" waist, and it was difficult to even button up. Could maybe have dealt with that, but the inseam is also uncomfortably short. Pants are also a bit baggy like a relaxed fit which I anticipated but had to see for myself...not a fan. Despite baggy pant leg, due to short inseam, they were kind of difficult to move around in. Again the material seems to be nice, stitches look good, and it has some nice features like the material that can be tucked into boots and the hooks that can attach to boot laces, and plenty of pockets. Just doesn't fit. Not going to bother ordering a size up because they would look pretty ridiculously baggy I expect and the inseam would probably still be a problem...will just buy something in store. Normally wouldn't give a product 3 stars for poor fit but in this case I feel like I ordered the correct size and they should have fit...but it turns out I wouldn't be happy with any of the sizes. So not just the fit but the cut/design is not to my liking. ... show more
