Description

Season after season, the 1350 Arctix Men's Essential Insulated Bib Overalls serve as an outstanding value priced snow bib and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable comfort suspenders provide the perfect fit with elasticized side gussets for maximum motion. The boot zippers make them easy for on and off access along with boot gaiters with grippers to form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

First off, these are pretty decent bibs for the price. I would recommend them and would buy them again. Now, if you have a BIG BELLY, READ THIS if you want a decent fit. DON'T go by your regular waist size. If you do, these aren't going to fit you. You need to measure around the BIGGEST part of your belly. And don't snug up the tape measure if you don't like the number you get. You have to be honest here if you want a comfortable fit. In fact, we added an inch to the measurement we got. Now, use the picture on the left side of the pictures for the size chart. Look at the sizes for bibs only. Don't have a heart attack when you see what size you REALLY need. Hubby normally wears a 3X-4X shirt. We had to go with the 6X for these bibs. It is what it is. He is VERY happy with the size we bought. He has more than enough room this way to layer a tshirt, flannel shirt and insulated hoodie under the bibs. I hope this helps you big guys. I am a 5ft 4in, 154.5 lbs woman who ordered this for myself because the women's bibs at the time I think took longer to ship and I needed one sooner. This bib worked out great! It had adjustable straps, zip pockets, and most importantly, kept me dry while skiing! I did have to role them up when I had regular shoes on but that didn't bother me. I ordered this a few days before heading up to go snow boarding. The quality of this item is great. I was a little worried about the sizing...Am 5'11" and weigh aprx 270 Lbs, and the XXL fit was spot on. I did spend allot of time on the ground sitting, on my knees, and laying in the snow and I never got wet or cold with this, and a jacket on. It also happened to be 36 degrees with a 25 mile an hour wind, and my legs were the least cold part of my body when I was standing idle with this and the rest of my gear on. No tears despite multiple wipeouts and lots of bending over and sitting down. I also loved the sturdy zip up pockets on both sides, was great for my wallet and cell phone. I bought a men’s medium tall for my 160lbs , 5’11 frame and I absolutely love it. The material & fit is fantastic!! I feel warm & secure in this suit. I’m so excited about my upcoming ski trip. I loved my ski bib so much, I bought one for my little brother who recently moved to New York. The tall XL fit him perfectly. He’s 6’4, 200 lbs. Ok... Sizing. Whenever I read a review, I'd like to know the review on sizing, because that helps me to better understand what size I should get. So.... I am 6'00 tall, 230 pounds. Waist is 36. Length of my jeans is 32. Chest is 50. Neck size approx 17.5-18. I bought the XXL. I put the XXL on wearing wind breaker pants, and a hooded sweatshirt. It fit perfect. Perfect as in I could layer up again and I would have no problem. The length was perfect, and yes folks, you can adjust the length a few inches if needed only from the top. The material isn't too thick, but had plenty of warmth, as I wore it out in the snow earlier today. Repels water and snow just fine, but I didn't sit in the snow to find out. I am happy with the Snow bib and for the price, it's worth it to me. Hope I could help some of you with sizing. ... show more

I finally got to take these out onto a mountain over the weekend and was quite pleased with the results. First, I'll go over the fit. I am 6'2" and 180lbs. I wear a 32"x34" pant. I ordered the Medium. They fit close to the body and are quite comfortable. The shoulder straps are adjustable to adjust the fit thru the crotch easily. The elastic on the sides makes for a comfy fit. The inseam was a bit shorter than I'd like as someone that wears a 34" leg but not a big deal at all. I've seen people say the the legs are huge. This is not my experience as I think they fit close to how a normal men's bib would fit. The zippers around the bottom of the leg make fitting over snowboard boots easy and they have a gaiter to tuck in and seal out snow. They only have one pocket but I was able to adjust to that quite easily and didn't find it to be an issue. They do not have a removable liner but they are insulated. I was worried that the insulation may be a bit thin but after taking them onto the slopes in 8 degree (-5 wind chill) weather, I found them to be just fine. I was able to stay in the snow and cold for hours and, if anything, I started to feel a bit too warm. The waterproofing also worked just fine and kept me dry all day. After the trip, I was able to wash them without incident. I washed them in cold water, dried them on low and immediately took them out to fold and put away. They aren't wrinkled and the insulation stayed intact. All-in-all, after comparing to other brands which cost much more, the Arctix snow bib comes out looking fantastic. Super warm, I'm 6'0" and 175 lbs and the large size fits perfectly with base layer pants and shirt and a insulated flannel shirt. There's good flexibility too, although I'm not doing any gymnastics in this suit I seem to be able to bend at the waist easily. This suit has TOTALLY eliminated the "drafty waist" syndrome that happens with me when I am wearing jeans, bend down during cold weather and get a draft up the back of my down jacket. Even during the recent frigid weather in New England this suit allowed me to work outdoors and stay warm. I would purchase this again. ... show more
