Description

Season after season, the 1540 Arctix Kids Snowsports Cargo Snow Pants with Articulated Knees serve as an outstanding value priced ski/snow pants and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. Articulated knees allow for a more unrestricted range of motion and comfort as you climb, hike, or ski/snowboard. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit while Boot Gaiters with Grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has cargo pockets for extra storage and an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, a zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

  • Great product
Color: Lilac Size: Small
Thought it was great, but my child wanted a different color. Wish you’ll had a lighter blue to match her coat.

  • Affordable
Color: Bluebird Size: Small
Kids grow to fast for designer ski wear. These work very well, and are easily replaced as my grand daughter grows. She is warm and dry and having a fun on the ski slopes

  • One button fell off, but otherwise these were good.
Color: Black Size: Large
One button did come right off when my son tried these on, but the other button stayed put and he skied and did some hard play in the snow with these on. They kept him warm and dry without being too bulky so overall I was happy, though I'm deducting a star for the bad button.

  • Best Snow Pants and for Skiing
Color: Black Size: X-Large
I bought these for skiing and I'm so happy I did!. I bought these for skiing and my brother bought the Adult Snow pants and so I had to get something smaller. the size I got was XL and my inseam is about 28-29 and they are a great fit! Even with my ski boot! By far they are the nicest pants Iv'e had. the zip pockets a great because the keep every thing in. I ski freestyle and they meet the requirements that you would need like, flexibility and mobility they allow for good movement for your legs. They Keep the snow out and are warm, I use my base-layer because I over heat because they are so warm. The stitching is good, I have taking some hard hits with them and the stitching did not come apart which made me super happy because I thought for sure they would tear apart with all the weight and sometimes drag from the slide. Lets compare with the Adult Arctix snow pants and the Kids snow pants I found that the little key ring by the belt loop (don't know if it is called that) on the adult pants are plastic and the ones on the kids are metal. When plastic gets cold at a certain degree it gets brittle and breaks, where as metal does not. The Inside of the kids pants are lined and the adults pants are not. This is good because they will keep more heat in where as the adult pants you might have to wear more, depending on how cold it is, how much wind there is and the wind chill. The only problem with having it lined is when your wearing jeans or something and its harder to get them on. Pockets are about the same but a little different size pouches. Like you have one cargo big pocket that is zip and then you have little that is Velcro. I think on the kid pants you have to two smaller ones instead one big one on the outside. There is also two waist buttons on the Adult pants and only one on the kid pants. I really don't see a difference, I use a belt with my pants so I didnt notice a difference at all. I would recommend these to anyone who wants good snow pants that are durable. They work great for me and I love them and I will buy them again. Hope thise helps you decide if these are the snow pants for you! ... show more

  • Not bad!
Color: White Multi Camo Cargo Size: Medium
These are pretty good! The size 10 just fits my son while he’s wearing thermals; it will not fit over his school clothes. But they’re really long, so a larger size would have him tripping all the time. He’s 8yo and sized between a boys’ 8 and 10, between Med and Large. Other than that, he’s warm and dry after playing in the snow. ... show more

  • Really nice but big
Color: Lime Green Size: Small
The pants are really great. Kept the kids warm but they do run big. I had to buy them a belt. Would suggest sizing down.

  • Great kids s ow pants
Color: Black Size: Medium
I bought this product a couple times for my daughters now as every year they seem to be growing and need a new pair! I have two girls that are tall and lean and find these pants fit them well! Definitely long enough to wear with boots or snow skis, and the button waist and elastic on the sides fits them great. ... show more

  • Overly tight snow gaiters
Color: Burnt Orange Size: Medium
My child just finished skiing an entire season in these pants. We love the color and the amount of pockets; two zippered and two with snaps. The pants kept him comfortable, even on our coldest day which was 6°F with winds up to 40mph. They look perfect - all of the zippers and stitching have held up. My only complaint is that the snow gaiters inside of the pant legs are too tight. They barely go over his ski boots. They fit, but so tightly that I have to shimmy them over his snow boots for him and it takes a while. He can't do it himself. If the manufacturer added an inch or two of fabric and elastic there, it would make a huge difference. ... show more
