Shipped quickly, packed well. Directions were pretty clear (except for the riser page). There was one part that didn’t fit easily but it is hidden on the top back and still does it’s job (keeping out dust). The instructions say to leave the monitor protection film on until a certain step but you should do it earlier unless you want to pick plastic from the edges where you have already screwed it down. The screws are strong and did not strip at all. The inner part of the riser has an up/down that is not clear from the instructions. I am not handy and I was able to build to satisfaction. It says not to use a power drill and I agree, except if you are going to attach the unit to the riser. There are pointed screws that need to go in with no pre drill spots so just be careful.     • Favorite Cabinet
This is another review on an item I purchased elsewhere, but I wanted to review it on Amazon because I do most of my shopping here. Golden Axe is my fourth and favorite cabinet by Arcade1up. This cabinet is what inspired me to start collecting these cabinets in the first place. While it was the first cabinet that I wanted, I started collecting them based on when they were on sale. So, just recently Golden Axe was on sale for $150 less than normal, so I finally pulled the trigger and I am glad I did. It’s my favorite cabinet because the original Golden Axe has always been my favorite arcade game of all times. The marquee looks great, the artwork on all sides look great and it’s a four player cabinet. Altered Beast is another great classic game along with Shinobi. The Revenge of Death Adder is actually a game I played for the first time about five years ago. Wrestle War is the only title that should have been replaced with something else. This game in my opinion is a flop considering the price of this cabinet. In fact, as much as I love this cabinet, it is overpriced when it’s not on sale. There is no wifi, only four games are worth playing. However, the four well known games, artwork, light up marquee and four player capability are what make this cabinet great. I did replace the floppy 2 lb. joystick springs with 6 lb. and that made a huge difference. In the future, this cabinet will be the only cabinet I plan to sink quite a bit of money in to upgrade when it comes to aesthetics. ... show more
