I bought a medium size white top and I'm 5'1" 138lbs. The fit was perfect, long enough to reach to my hips and the material was thin but it has a design to it and gave this top a little bit of character. Plenty of room if I wanted to wear this as a vest over a blouse so I'll be able to wear it year round. I doubt it would be worn for lots of warmth but as a fashion type of vest, it will be great. You could also wear this as a top with a blazer or jacket for the office or an evening out. It washed well with a light heated tumble dry. I needed a white summer top and this fit the bill. Worth the $$$.

I’ve been loving this sweater vest ever since I got it, and waited a full month before writing this review to really see how it holds up. First, it’s incredibly soft & comfortable. The fabric is thin but not see through, which makes it perfect for layering with tank top, long sleeves or wearing on its own. The white button detail adds a cute, polished look so chic when I paired it with white pants. I followed the washing instructions carefully - laying it flat over a towel to dry. I am happy to report that it kept its vibrant black color and perfect shape, it looked as good as new. The price is excellent when you consider how stylish, versatile and comfortable it is.

This 55% acrylic and 45% cotton vest is soft and lightweight enough to wear on even the warmest of days. The pattern makes it standout from your typical summer top, and the buttons (they even included an extra in case a repair is needed) add a subtle pop of neutral color. The top is machine washable, but you need to hang it dry, not pop it in the machine. I ordered a size up as reviewers suggested, and it is loose enough to be comfortable both on its own and with a long sleeved top underneath. No gapping between the buttons at all. I tried it both ways and it wasn't snug or tight. From looking at the pictures, I was hoping that it would come just to my waist, but it is a bit longer on my 5'6" frame. Still flattering, but not to wear with the high-waisted pants I was thinking of. I will probably be wearing this with Bermuda shorts on warm days. The whip stitched edging on the bottom hem is cute and attractive, also a little different from the usual hemming you see.

It's med-weight so great for neutral and warmer months. Definitely wash in delicates with like colors. Easy enough to maintain.
