They are light weight, clear, and the frames are flexible enough to keep undo stress off the pivots or frames. I have tried quite a few different reading glasses on Amazon, the main problem I have found is the frames cracking or the pivot screws backing out. I haven't had these long enough to access those problems for sure but I like the way these are made. I think they will last. If my opinion changes I will update this review.

I was a bit skeptical about the 'computer glare protection' part but have noticed, once I started using them that I no longer get the weird head and eye ache that I would often get before, especially toward the evening, when I was staring at the computer screen. They're also lightweight and very nice, flattering looking so I am very happy with the purchase.

I've been buying readers for awhile (I'm 63....) and noticed that I kept needing stronger lenses (over a 20 year period). I ought some expensive readers (>$100) and promptly lost them. Etc. So while my driving glasses are high-quality (and they stay in the car....) I've generally purchased cheap readers. My lesson? Don't buy the cheapest readers -- buy these instead. Where the bottom of the class are $5-$10 for few pairs, these are a bit more ($25/ four pair). But they are worth it! I was able to to go a lower strength (from 4 to 2.5) and I'm not continually re-focusing my eyes; the optics in these are better. And, they are really comfortable. So if you're looking for decent readers that you won't beat yourself up about if you lose them....I highly recommend these.

So here's the deal. Im an old man. How old? I bought these glasses twice, and you can see by my star rating what I think of them. Here was my pattern with the 5-pack selection of these glasses: I put them on, read a while, stand up, the glasses fall off my face, and finally, in my old man confused state, I take a step before realizing they've fallen off, and I step on them. So, depending on my bathroom visits per day, the 5-pack lasts about 2 and a half days. These glasses are extremely flimsy. The only time they sort of fit on your face is the first time you put them on. They then spread the width of your face and don't come close to springing back to their original position. And they don't conform to your head/face the first time. They're a little like a running back on a screen pass: they go wide, catch the ball/ears, and run upfield wherever they can, which glasses mimic by bending and twisting until they meet resistance, like my foot. I challenge anyone to bend their head slightly forward and keep these glasses on your face. I consider it a good day if I make it to the bathroom with the glasses still on. Of course, that's the second most popular spot I find these glasses: on the bathroom floor after bending my head down (this phenomenon might just be applicable to guys; you see, guys generally tilt their head down to...you know, if you're a guy, you'll understand. I'm a widower,so I really don't know if women need to bend their head). I usually write more than need be, so I'll get to the point. Don't buy these glasses. They do magnify well and accurately, but that's of little concern if you can't keep them in front of your eyes. I know just about all reading glasses are problematic. We're constantly leaving them and forgetting where we left them, or you step on them after falling asleep in your recliner and they slide off your lap and on to the floor. I haven't worn a pair yet that were designed to last. But 2 and a half days? Ok, maybe 5 pair last a couple of weeks, but that means I had a pretty good bathroom visits per day week.
