We had a waterfall put in last year and the gut sold me on the Aquascape system. He said I would have to change bags every six months. I had long strands of algae after 4 months and checked to find that the Aquascape Prevent bag was empty. I replaced it and ordered the Aquascape Clean and have used four of them. We had a lot of water leaking and had to keep refilling the basin. So we may have been losing the effectiveness of the Aquascape products with the water loss. I've used eight bags and this is the 12th month, not quite a year yet. I think I need to replace the bad again soon. I'm using the Clean because it's less expensive than the Prevent. ... show more

    • Aquascape system doesn’t work
The aquascape ‘system’ to which this product is linked hadn’t worked since installation. The water is not clean - 2 of the pumps have broken in the year we’ve had the system. Aquascape sells systems and installation design to contractors- they don’t have the homeowners in mind.

Great product but the bag leaked all contents into the protective plastic bag it was shipped in. The box was taped on one end. Now I had to store it in a jar and use it by hand instead of the auto doser method I have.

Maybe my pond is too big at 4,500 gallons and I really wanted it to work, after sinking $25.00 or so a pop and over $100 for the Dosing machine, but it did NOTHING for my murky water. I tried some solution from a competitor and w/in a DAY my water was getting crystal clear. It still is; just not from this... I wound up in-plugging the machine. ... show more
