The filter does its job well to filter out bad tasting water. Big downfall for us is that you have to suck water through the filter, and that is no easy task! It's almost worthy of causing a headache! Nice the lid snaps to close and lock.

For the price point, it's fine. It doesn't take a Herculean effort to sip water from the straw and it's pretty easy to bring places. It did start to leak a few days into my trip but I haven't noticed it leaking since.

Since Brita discontinued their sports water bottle I have been looking for a FILTERED Water Bottle that you can tilt and does not cost a small fortune. I take medications and using the ones with a built in straw I have to lean my head down and hence making the medication had to swallow, sometimes even dropping into the straw opening. This one is great because I can tilt it up easily and take my meds. The bottle is of good quality, very portable and I love the color. However, the water does not taste very clean as it should in a filtered water bottle. The other thing is it is way too small. Need a larger bottle with a better filtering system. ... show more
