    • It’s a great tool for ice fishing finding fish
The media could not be loaded. This really changes the game when you can see the fishes reaction to your hook. I went out last weekend lake trout fishing and didn’t get a single flag on my tip ups and didn’t catch anything jigging BUT we saw 24 trout on the camera so we knew they were there and either not hungry or just not liking what we were offering. We went out the next day on another lake and only saw one fish on the camera all day so we just weren’t on the fish. I wouldn’t have had this data without the camera since both days were catchless. It really doesn’t do well in low light or murky water but in clear, well lit spots it’s amazing. You can still make it work in low light but you can’t see fish until they are right on it. ... show more

    • Great camera for the price if you fish clear water
Fantastic, top notch customer service by Amazon. They really separate themselves from the rest of the companies out there when it comes to quality and customer service. I am sure this would be a great camera to use and for the price, who could argue. I have done extensive research and purchased this camera because side by side it appeared more clear than the Marcum and the more expensive model of the same line. However, what I didn't realize was the lakes I fish in are not the most clear. The color tends to show the water clarity making it difficult to see at lengths more than 8 feet out. For that reason, I had to go back to my b/w Markum camera and I was able to increase my visibility by quite a bit. If you know the lakes you will be fishing on are clear, than I couldn't imagine going with a more expensive camera without first trying this out. If your lakes are not clear, you may want to consider a b/w or the camera that has both options. tight lines... ... show more

Pros: price, quality, ease of use, battery life, size, carry case, picture quality, ability to really look at structure and identifying fish actually down there and not just guessing at what kind of fish and structure your sonar screen is showing you Cons: cord only 50’, no idea which direction you are looking when camera is on the bottom, a built in compass would have solved that ... show more

I bought this a little nervous being that there some bad reviews out there. This has a crystal clear video in a side by side comparison to the marcum camera of comparable price. Carrying bag, cord, and camera are all of great quality for the price! Now I’m just waiting for the tripod to show up! I’d definitely recommend this camera. ... show more
