This is probably one of the most comfortable duvets I've ever used, very lightweight but also pretty fluffy to the touch. Yes, it may not look as fluffy as advertised but feels pretty plush and breathable! As a hot sleeper, it doesn't get too hot but it is notably a bit warm on the hotter nights, so warning advised for the hottest days during the summer. I can already tell I will get much better sleep once the temperatures really start to drop some! Now it does have a strong smell out of the box but once it's been a few days it won't be nearly as strong, and a duvet cover also seems to help plenty. It is also pretty crunchy but that is how it's supposed to feel brand new, it gets quieter over time as the cotton and feathers spread around inside and even out. However if you can't stand any crinkle sounds this might not be for you. Overall great duvet insert and highly recommend!

Don't buy the pottery barn one, this one is better. It fits my bed exactly like I wanted it too, it flows over but not far enough to where is annoyingly on the ground. Its soft, lightishweight (which I love), and isn't too hot. My husband and I are both very hot sleepers and we can't say enough good things about this duvet.

I Love this comforter. It’s extremely fluffy. I left it out for a day flat on my bed so it could fluff up, before putting it inside a duvet comforter. It is a bit noisy, but I love the sound it makes. When I make my bed and fold the top of the comforter down it is SO POOFY without me having to shake the feathers around. It’s absolutely beautiful

The only reason I’m rating this 4 star instead of 5 is because of the strong smell. I ran it through the air setting on the dryer a dozen times and it still took over a week for the smell to go away. (Or maybe I’m just used to it now?) I don’t know if it’s dry cleaning solvent or if it was stored in the back of grandmas closet but I almost returned it because it was so strong. I purchased the all season comforter. It’s fluffy enough I wish it had a little more though tbh. It’s warm as expected and although it’s a little crinkly as some have stated it’s the same feel as the expensive dept store one I bought 30 years ago. Good quality, just stinky for a while.

I don't know what I ever did without this comforter, it is that great !!!! This comforter is huge and heavy to carry, but is light a fluffy on the bed. The way its packaged has all of the air sucked out of the package so a trip through the dryer to fluff it up is necessary before putting it on the bed. I would think it needs to be dry cleaned or washed in a commercial washer/dryer a regular household machine is too small to adequately clean/dry.
