    • Doesn't work it tripod plate attached...
Just barely fits my Canon Vixia HF R800 - provided I remove the tripod mount plate for my tripod. Which is annoying having to remove and reattach it each time. Also, as another commenter posted, you have to get the power pack and cables in there just right for it to close up. It's a bit fiddly.

The case is fine and does fit the camera. It might have been nice to be just a tad bit larger. You do need to adjust all the cables "just so" to get the case to close without a struggle. When I put the camera away, its annoying, but when traveling I like that it does not waste much space. This is a great travel case, not a case for repetitive use as in sightseeing. The case arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Supplier did a great job packing and shipping. My camera fits perfectly. The camera compartment is sized so that it is easy to insert or remove the camera. The fit is not loose. There is no bouncing due to the camera being too free. Fit is just right.
