The media could not be loaded. My new watch kicks booty! I was going to wait to get the fancy one for divers because I planned on getting my SCUBA certification but after I got my class I decided I wouldn’t be doing nearly as much diving as I planned on and opted for this pretty gold one instead. I love the gold because I recently swapped all my jewelry to gold for my skin tone. This one automatically senses when I jump in the pool the temp and depth - etc. I also use to track my BBT for the Natural Cycles app. I don’t need the deeper dive watch because I decided I’d probably want to get an actual fancy dive computer if I ever start diving more. This watch charges very fast. I wear it almost all the time. The display is bright and easier to read that my previous watch. If you’re between sizes on the band-size up. I wish I had a couple more holes - that is my only issue with it. I’m pretty hard on my devices but I haven’t noticed any scratches or wear after months of wearing it 24/7. I even picked up a few more bands to go with divergent outfits and they are all perfectly comparable and fit great. It tracks my sleep at night so I can see how (badly) I sleep. It’s good at noticing when I’m awake at night and I use that data to share with my sleep doctor.

I've been using the Apple Watch Series 10 (GPS + Cellular, 42mm, Natural Titanium with Stone Grey Sport Band) for a few weeks, and it’s a big step forward in both design and capability. Display and always‑on performance: The always‑on Retina display is exceptionally bright and easy to read outdoors at midday. Text and complications stay crisp at a glance, and animations feel fluid with no lag. The higher peak brightness makes maps, workouts, and notifications pop without cranking the backlight manually. Comfort and design: The natural titanium case keeps weight down while feeling solid and premium. The Stone Grey Sport Band is soft, breathable, and secure during runs; I forget it’s on most of the day. The 42mm case looks great but can feel large on smaller wrists—worth trying on if you prefer compact watches. Health features: ECG works quickly and reliably, and heart‑rate and SpO2 tracking have been consistent with my dedicated fitness chest strap and fingertip sensor. Fitness tracking is excellent—automatic workout detection, accurate GPS for outdoor runs, and helpful training metrics and recovery insights. Sleep tracking is more actionable than previous generations, and the new safety features add peace of mind. Cellular connectivity and notifications: LTE connectivity is rock‑solid for calls, texts, music streaming, and Apple Pay when I leave the phone behind. This is my third Apple Watch and an upgrade from the Watch 6. I loved my 6, but it was just time to get a new one. So, the first thing I noticed was how much CLEARER the face was! Not just bigger (I went from 40 mm to 42mm) but so much clearer, and brighter and easier to read. The second thing was, how might LIGHTER it feels on my wrist...almost as if nothing is there. Even with the face protector, it is so much lighter than the 6. As for the battery, I charge it to 100% (quick charge!) and wear it all day and night, and it still has a decent amount of charge in it. But I still charge it each morning so I can wear it all day and night again. I chose the GPS + Cellular model this time because, being a bit older and not always near my phone, I wanted the watch to be able to work on its own in an emergency. As for apps, I haven't had much time to try them all out, but the ones I did use have more functionality than before. I did notice a lot more ways, like an emoji app, to customize texting and messaging. Calls are nice and clear as well. There are also more ways to customize each app to your own preferences. And there are a lot more watch faces to choose from. Yes, I am an Apple person - iPhones, watches, iPads, MacBooks, and I just love the way everything interfaces. All in all, I LOVE my new Apple Watch and totally worth the investment.
