  • SE2 to SE3
Color: Starlight Aluminum Case with Lake Green ... Size: 40mm Case + Small/Medium band Style: GPS Configuration: Without AppleCare+
SE2 GPS is a great little watch. It’s been my wrist companion for two years now and has served me well. Especially during fire season and just being secure knowing it’s a tap away from a phone call etc. The fitness app is great and music paired with AirPods is a must. The GPS is all I need, carry my iPhone along or stay within WiFi distance. Now, here’s the thing. As of recent, Apple has decided to pull support for this SE2 model, coming up with iOS 27 this fall. So, I ordered the SE3 at $219 here on Amazon. Again, GPS and good to go. See ya SE2. I like the SE version for the Apple Watch so it’s a win win. With 64 GB and a few small extra features, it’s a smart move to go to the SE3. Price is good for the 40mm GPS. ... show more

  • Great watch! Would buy again!
Color: Starlight Aluminum Case with Starlight S... Size: 40mm Case + Small/Medium band Style: GPS Configuration: Without AppleCare+
Perfect condition! I wear it everyday! I ordered a small/medium band and it fit great! I use it for texting and timers the most and they work great. I love being able to add whatever picture I would like to the display and add any apps I may need, as well as quickly reading notifications. The only downside is it’s not waterproof just resistant so I don’t recommend to have in water for a long period of time. ... show more

  • Holds a charge for a day
Color: Midnight Aluminum Case with Ink Sport Loop Size: 40mm Case + Small/Medium band Style: GPS Configuration: Without AppleCare+
UPDATE: After using my watch extensively for two months I changed my review rating to a five. Why? Because it is absolutely essential for keeping track of my daily/weekly/monthly diet and fitness. I think it keeps me focused more in my goals by offering so many functions. The fitness rings are super for keeping up with calories, exercise and standing. It’s like I don’t want to disappoint the watch by not reaching my goals. Yes, that does sound odd but so far it works. I got it for a great price too. I’ve become accustomed to charging my watch in the evenings so I can use it to monitor my sleep. I imagine a higher priced version would hold a charge longer. I’ve previously used knock off fitness watches but they don’t come close to what my Apple Watch can do, plus it syncs to my phone. I’m 70 years old so keeping myself as healthy as I can is really really important. INITIAL REVIEW: I’m delighted with my Apple Watch. I got it after I finally traded in my wonderful but very old IPhone 8 for an exceptional IPhone 15 pro max. The functions are exceptional and I use it a lot. One thing, the battery doesn’t last very long. It needs a charge before the end of each day. It’s fine but I’m a bit disappointed that Apple can’t figure that out after producing the watch for such a long time. Gee. ... show more

  • The perfect gift! Stylish, functional, and my wife absolutely loves it
Color: Starlight Aluminum Case with Starlight S... Size: 40mm Case + Small/Medium band Style: GPS Configuration: Without AppleCare+
I bought the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) in the Starlight Aluminum Case for my wife, and it has been an incredible purchase. She absolutely loves it and wears it every single day. The Starlight color is beautiful and elegant—it has a premium look that matches perfectly with almost any outfit, whether she’s at the gym or dressed up for an event. Performance-wise, it is exactly what she needed. The 40mm size is perfect for her wrist, feeling lightweight and comfortable throughout the day. It’s fast, responsive, and handles all her notifications, fitness tracking, and apps without any lag. Even though it’s the SE model, it has all the essential features like heart rate monitoring and fall detection that provide great peace of mind. The integration with her iPhone is seamless, as you would expect from Apple. It helps her stay organized and active without having to check her phone constantly. If you are looking for a high-quality smartwatch that offers the best balance between price and features, this is definitely it. A 5-star product that makes a perfect gift! ... show more

  • Great entry-level Apple Watch, but consider your needs
Color: Midnight Aluminum Case with Ink Sport Loop Size: 40mm Case + Small/Medium band Style: GPS Configuration: Without AppleCare+
I made the switch from Android to iOS a few months ago, and since I had a Samsung Galaxy Watch while using Android, it made sense to get an Apple Watch after the switch. I’ve now been using the 40mm version of the Apple Watch SE for about a month and have had time to gather my thoughts. First off, the packaging and unboxing experience was fantastic. It was clean and aesthetically pleasing like all Apple products (for those who care about that kind of thing). I did try using the included Sport Loop at first, but eventually swapped it out for an off-brand Alpine Loop band, which I now use daily and prefer for comfort and ease-of-use. As for the watch itself, it does everything I hoped it would. Sleep tracking feels more accurate than what I got with my Samsung watch, though I do miss having automatic workout detection. That said, I don’t mind opening the Workout app manually before getting active. In terms of battery life, it can get you through a full day of activity, but I’ve found that it definitely needs to be charged at least once a day. That’s something I expected though, especially from a more affordable Apple Watch model. Where I think the SE falls short is in its software limitations. Some features like a music speaker, water depth and temperature sensor, and sleep apnea notifications are only available on the higher-end models. These aren’t necessarily deal breakers, but they’re things I feel I could’ve benefited from, especially having used a smartwatch before. I picked this watch up at a pretty good discount, so I’m not definitely not complaining there. But in hindsight, I probably should’ve considered spending a little more on a Series 8 or 10. On top of the added features, I also sometimes feel that a slightly larger size than the 40mm (without going all the way to 44mm) might’ve suited me better. It’s a minor thing, but it adds to my feeling that one of the more premium models might’ve been the better fit. Nonetheless, I’d absolutely recommend the SE to anyone just getting into smartwatches or looking for their first Apple Watch. For the price, you’re getting all the core features you need just with a few trade-offs. ... show more

  • Worth. Every. Penny.
Color: Starlight Aluminum Case with Starlight S... Size: 40mm Case + Small/Medium band Style: GPS Configuration: Without AppleCare+
This review is from the perspective of a blind user and a musician. I was already in the Apple ecosystem, but I've been struggling with Android watches for a long time now. Ironically the best I've ever owned was an Alexa-enabled cheap-o, but when I saw the SE 2nd gen on sale for only $170 I finally took the plunge. I'm really happy I did, with one small caveat. First of all, the bad: again, I am a blind user. The accessibility on these watches is amazing, for the most part. Where I stumbled was with the passcode to unlock the watch. I didn't think to set it up so that it unlocks with my phone, and ended up locked out of my watch for a full 45 minutes before I gave up, went into the Watch app on my phone, and reset the watch completely. So, my advice to my fellow blind users is this: turn on voiceover while setting up your watch. Even if you don't need it later, you can turn it back off again, but during setup it will save you an hour of headaches. Watch face options: there are a plethora of great options, but the one I chose is called Numarals Duo for its huge font. But, I later found out that the watch does this neat trick. You can press and hold the watch face with two fingers and Siri will speak out the time, or you can even set up a haptic feedback system where the watch will silently tap your wrist to tell you what time it is. Game. Changing. Since I don't use my watch to answer messages (because I'd rather use my phone and dictate them that way), I've found I actually get almost 36 hours of battery by simply turning off raise to wake, and having Siri listening (You can just press the digital crown button and get her that way anyway). Lastly, apps! Oh my gosh this is the BIG REASON to own an Apple watch. I'm a musician, and I've been eyeing haptic feedback metronomes lately. They cost an exhorbitant amount of money, well more than an Apple Watch for JUST THE metronome. Or, you can buy an Apple Watch and get the iOS app, like Haptik, or its free alternative (the name escapes me, but it's not hard to find). The watch charges so fast that I don't think twice about using it as my metronome for a couple of hours, then toss it on the charger while I work on something else. ... show more
