I was looking for a charger for my car that would work with both my iPhone 13 and iPad Pro (latest model in 2024), as well as my granddaughters iPad (8th gen), on occasion. The iPhone and 8th gen iPad use a standard usb plug, while my iPad Pro uses the usb-c. They require at least 20watts… ALL the car chargers I had before never charged our iPads despite claims they would! This charger is 50watts if I recall correctly. It has two slots: one standard USB and one USB-C. Not all dual car chargers (for both usb types) will work for the iPads….so frustrating, despite so many claims on chargers! This one works beautifully for all three devices (at different times; only 2 at once as there is one USB and one USB-C slot). It charged my iPhone much quicker than any other car charger! And charged my iPad Pro super fast. I really like the blue light around the slots, (which is not too bright) as it enables me to see the usb slot easily. It also came with two USB-C cords, which I didn’t expect - bonus! So I can just leave that USB-C cord in the car (and a spare for backup). Honestly, this is the best car charger for our devices I’ve had so far. It actually works. It doesn’t feel cheap - it’s very well made. Highly recommend. ... show more

This charger and cables are advertised on Amazon as being MFi-certified for use on Apple products. After searching the Apple certification site, I do not see this. Even without searching, you can tell that the cables don't seem well made enough for MFi -- they are quite stiff and the connectors are small and hard to pull out. Perhaps the worst is that it was almost impossible to make them go into the charging socket. I really had to force the cable ends in -- hard -- to get them connected. As others on here have said, the light is very bright; I don't mind this in my car but some drivers might find a bright blue light on their dashboard distracting. If these cables were MFi-certified FOR SURE, and the whole set was a little better made, I would rate it higher. As is, I am not sure that I want to risk a $1000 iphone on these cheesy-feeling products. ... show more

Worked as described for a few weeks. Love that it came with both types of cords that can be used with the charger. I work from home and don’t use my vehicle everyday so this charger doesn’t get used daily which you would think would make it last longer but it has already fallen apart (the top fell off) and won’t charge my device as it keeps popping out of the cigarette lighter. The charger did the job as described - it charged 2 phones in the car at the same time. I used for iPhones, but also to charge USB-C devices too. And tested it to charge a battery bank as well. All worked and charged. Its a small compact design, doesn't take up too much space in your car. Glad it came with 2 different cables, one is USB-C to USB-C, and the other is USB-A to USB-C. Since the charger itself has 2 ports, one USB-C and one USB-A, it's pretty versatile for your car charging needs. The only thing is, if you have an iPhone with the lightning style port, you will need to use your own charging cable (it doesn't have lightning) but that's no big deal, as most people have a lot of lightning cables still around. ... show more

Even though the discription states they are for IOS devices they do work for Android devices too. I have used this in my car and let me tell you they work just fine. My Android cell phone was at 14% and in no time charged to 53% to my amazement. This device can save you in emergency situations when you need power or to charge up your device very quickly.
