Am I the only one that gets super annoyed when I plug my phone in at night and have to lay halfway off the bed for the phone to reach the charger so I can order more Amazon items? If you are infected by this incredibly annoying disorder, I suggest you order these very durable, high quality, high speed cables today. It’s important to point out the thieves are type C USB on one side an Apple lightning on the other. With that being the case, there are a very specific line of phones that they will fit. Anything new is gonna have USB type C on both ends and these will not work for that so as far as compatibility goes, these were great if they’re used for the phone they were designed for. But if you’re gonna try and use a lightning cable on your android, you’re gonna be disappointed. Are they compatible? Yes but only with the right phone. Anyway, I’ll talk about that. The other important thing is the safety of the charger. I made the sacrifice and took one of these apart just to get an idea what kind of opponents were used and basically what the guts look like. Most importantly was the high voltage side isolated from the low voltage side. I’m happy again to say yes I did a wonderful job of isolating those two bits. They charge very quickly. They are not as fast as my Apple three amp supercharger that came with the phone a couple years ago and somehow I have not lost but they come close. What I like about them is that since they are type C on that end they are compatible with just about any charger so I can use my own 10 foot type C to type C with this wall wart and get a great charge. It’s sad, but these chargers are found all over the place sold in stores, used as power supplies for many many devices, and that can be a problem. If the power supply within the charger was cheap we made, of which there are many out there, all it takes is one unlucky moment and you could get the shock of your lifetime. The good news is these appear to be plenty safe from that. There is plenty of isolation between the sides and I trust them as much as I do any other well built charging device. ... show more
