I bought the 11 inch Pro M4 model. Be warned—because Apple doesn’t warn you adequately: if you upgrade to this model or the new iPad Air M2, your Apple Pencil 2 will be no more than a useless decoration. Why doesn’t Apple make this more clear up front? I won’t buy any more Apple pencils, just cheap knock-offs, which, ironically, will often work with these models. (I have a $20 one that works fine.) Other than this, which I’m still fuming about, it’s a great piece of hardware. I do wish it had BOTH face recognition AND Touch ID. But the face recognition works pretty well. If I’d read the small print before buying, though, I would have bought the previous iPad Air model on sale instead of this, which wouldn’t have left me with an expensive dinosaur of a paperweight in the form of an obsolete Pencil. ... show more
